AMJ Watches - any good? Reliable?

    Hi all

Just googling around to look at prices for a new Omega and came across AMJ Watches:

    www.amjwatches.co.uk

I have not heard of them before, but the prices were good (inline with Iconic etc). A bit of a webchat suggested they buy grey market with the usual AD warranties etc

Has anyone dealt with them before? Google has not been too helpful with reviews beyond the odd 1-2

    Cheers

    Arrow

They are extremely well known and highly respected.
Try googling Andrew Michaels Jewellers (AMJ) who are in Newark.

I'd highly recommend them, their young-ish watch chap Mark is knowledgable and passionate about watches, something you don't see too much of these days.

I bought a unworn/new PAM00523 from them, saw it online, did a quick web chat, reserved it there and then, popped up to Newark, had a good look round the shop, tried it on then paid cash.

I asked if they did 0% finance (rather the cash stay in my bank) but they don't on grey imports, but advised me to get a low cost loan, and they'd reduce the price by the %age rate, effectively getting 0%, which was nice. When I said I'll just pay cash, they honoured the extra discount

In the end I saved £1210, 23% off list

Forgot to mention, they are also bricks and mortar, and one of the largest Breitling ADs in the UK

They are advertising 0% on-line but it states that it is at their discretion against sale items. The vast majority of their stock appears to be on sale so not quite sure how that works.

They do offer 0%, but not on pre-owned / grey imported goods only on AD new items

Seems like a very good deal at 25% off? I am pretty sure they've had this one on their website for quite some time though (??why) -->

PS agree with above comments re: buying safely from AMJ - very good bricks-and-mortar shop, and have bought new watches from them sight unseen.

Been to see them this afternoon, put me a battery in my co pilot and adjusted the bracelet.
You can get 20% off plus interest free if you take it over 12 monthly payments also they have a few seikos which are on sale but also they are asking for offers.

No hesitation recommending, had two off them in the last couple of years; a GS and a PAM. Both were great experiences

i bought a Tudor from their bricks and mortar shop in Newark a couple of weeks ago. Very pleasant and knwledgable team, and a great display of watches.

I'd have no hesitation in using them again.
