    Thanks for the heads up.

Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown has been added to Netflix since his tragic suicide. There’s 8 series in total and each episode is a great combination of the place, the people and the food of the area.

We've been struggling recently with programmes, new series which turn out to be same old, same old. We watched 'Jack Ryan' in two evenings (it's an eight episode series) and really enjoyed it. Well observed characters, intrigue, suspense, action; an enjoyable series.

Enjoyed 'Billions' which has already been mentioned, I also enjoyed 'Banshee' but yeah, stretching it in the last series or two. 'The Good Place' was good as well, 'Santa Clarita Diet', 'Mindhunter', 'Handmaids Tale', 'Succession' was enjoyable in a 'Billions' kinda way but not the same subject matter. If you like your drama British, Police and Contemporary i quite liked 'Bulletproof'. 'Preacher' is enjoyable and surprising in places with some dry humour and wit. 'The Innocents' on Netflix was interesting,

Things i thought i would like: 'Jessica Jones' liked S1 but cant get to grips with S2. Unfortunately, the same with 'Iron Fist'. 'Patrick Melrose' i didn't warm to and i'm finding 'S.W.A.T' is basically a reboot of the original series wrapped up in the same garment as the reboot of 'Hawaii 5-0' which is painfully predictable. 'Instinct' is also painfully predictable and miscast. Alan Cumming is a pleasure to watch in many programmes but i don't think this vehicle for him works.

Looking forward to 'The Punisher S2', 'Black Mirror S5', 'Taboo S2', 'F.B.I S1', 'Manifest', 'The Brave', 'The Enemy Within', 'Treadstone' and 'Counterpart'.

Watched episode 1 of Stranger on ITV on Monday. As much as I want to like Bodyguard, I found Stranger much more engaging.

Mayans MC was absolutely brilliant last week. Looking forward to watching ep2 later.

Sadly it's only on in America just now but Mrs K found it through a streaming service on her phone (show box?).

Update - yep, it's a great series. Plenty of nods to Sons of Anarchy but it's not just a Hispanic version of the same, it stands on its own two feet.

Well worth a watch if you can find a streaming service, or one to look out for when it gets a UK premiere.

Just finished the "Dark" series on Netflix - a more mature Stranger Things. Lots of questions left at the end, but Series 2 is already in production. :)

Just finished Ozark Season 2. Gets quite complicated and intricate but still really enjoyed it and well worth a watch.

Rather coarse, not suitable for watching with the kids (anal in first 10 mins and other bits and bobs).

From BBC: 'Angry, pervy, outrageous and hilarious, Fleabag arrives with a bang, as she spins through the city grasping at anyone and anything that might keep her head above water.'

First 2 episodes of "The Deuce" on Saturday night
    Seems decent-over 18s only

On episode three of 'Killing Eve' and thoroughly enjoying it - different from the normal British spy thriller, funny, sexy and the lead assassin is played brilliantly.

We’ve two episodes left, it’s excellent. Didn’t realise it was first released on BBC America which probably explains Sandra Oh’s casting. Jodie Comer is superb.

Just started watching Man in the High Castle on Amazon. Based on a novel, set in a Post war America in the early Sixties. That's an America that lost the war, Japan occupy the western states, Germany the Mid and Eastern States. Definitely off to a good start.

I'd never heard of the guy until his death but have watched some of his shows and really like them, especially his trips to London and Dublin.

Not new but if anyone has never seen The Shield give it a go.

For me the best ever TV series made.

Within 2 minutes I wanted the husband to murder Sandra Oh's character, but it quickly got better.

I am finding Michael Palin's travel series to North Korea quite fascinating. I have only watched the first episode, I think it will become less fascinating and more confronting once he travels to the more remote areas of the country.

Watched the whole lot recently, excellent! There's been talk of a one off feature length film being made, starting production towards the end of this year and airing in 2019.

Enjoying "A Very Secret Service " on Netflix. French comedy (don't let that put you off), set in the early sixties at the height of the cold war. Just started the second series.

I enjoyed killing eve but not much happens at the end - felt like they’re holding everything back for series 2 which is a bit annoying.

Certainly different, it's all in the detail of which there is plenty.

The director has been handed the reins of Bond 25, hope he's up to the job. What do you think based on Maniac?
