Finished Travelers, and looking forward to season 2 which has been filmed, and should be available to buy soon.

Currently up to half way through the third season of Strike Back, the budget for this show has to be way into six figures, but no doubt Millions..

A couple of new TV Series I'm waiting for to complete, then will buy them, American Gods, and Boy in Blue. Both have a very good cast line up.

Been watching "American Playboy: the Hugh Hefner story" on Amazon prime. Mingles "dramatic" recreation with old footage and more recent interviews.

I know its probably a rose tinted view but I've found the emphasis on cultural shifts of the time, absolutely fascinating. They were interesting times at the start! Worth a watch.

I was angry - never been angry at a season ending before and quite surprised myself. Thinking about it for a bit and reading all the other Internet chat about it I realised it may be ok. It all depends what the next season brings.

Just embarking on Series 2 of Mr Robot. The first was great – highly recommended. Big plot twists and a very unusual protagonist. Completely different from anything else I've seen lately.

The Leftovers are freaking killing it with season 3, I had some doubts during first season (where is this going etc), but it is really really captivating to watch

Billions season 2 has just finished and got better and better - last two episodes were crackers. It'll be a long wait until next year for season 3...

I have just finished watching season 6 of Suits, really enjoyed the previous seasons and looking forward to season 7 later this year.

My other half just finished watching Big little lies, wasn't my cup of tea to start but I caught the last 2-3 episodes which were surprisingly good.
Short series though, I think it was about 8 episodes.

Couldnt agree more. Much better than season 1 and new threads added for some good plot lines for the coming season(s). And of course, Maggie Siff!

    I must be missing something.
Designated Survivor doesn't compare with HOC. It's more like Suits relocates to the White House, but with a lead who really can't act.

Agreed - can't wait for season 3. Love these kinda clever series with so many twists and turns. Makes you think, and appreciate the thought that went into the writing.

Game of Thrones coming up next month... That should be a cracker too.

And the watches, just spotted this in one of the new episodes:

Is there a thread already about spotting watches in series? :)

Not seen it yet as it is due to start next week, but being a huge fan of Twin Peaks and David Lynch I am looking forward immensely to the new series after a twenty odd years hiatus.

    Sky Atlantic BTW.

Its caught a lot of the atmos quite well but the book is played a little straighter and more sardonic .

The series is a bit more outrageous and zany.

    Its good though.

Just started watching this on Season 1 episode 4, bit of a thinking mans show, with a bit of nudity thrown in.

I'm hugely enjoying "The 100" - now renewed for a fifth season.

    More post-apocalyptic sci-fi - but very compelling.
So clever my foot fell off.

Watched first 3 episodes of American Gods. Lovely stuff, visually excellent though the story needs to pick up a bit.

Silicon Valley - if you haven't watched it, please do. Just so funny and Season 4 is simply continuing the jokes.

Boy in blue is an amazing adaptation of real events.

Also watching Training Day, one episode left, RIP Mr Paxton, Prison Break, and The Americans.
