Not new I know, but I’m really enjoying Life on Mars on the iPlayer, how I missed it first time I’ll never know, Gene Hunt is one of the great TV characters, up there easily with Jack Regan!

    Finished watching them all.

Some great story's and some very clever shockers I didnt expect.

Security (compared to today) looks quite shocking an old bloke on the front door checking paper passes etc.

Lots of GMT style watches and others on display.

Some recent ones we've enjoyed but are probably all mentioned above somewhere!

    Apple TV+
Ted Lasso, binge watched the lot and loved it!
    Hijack, very good.
Slow Horses, more of an old fashioned spy game type programme, binged both series and enjoyed it. Gary Oldman is amazing, but we knew that already. More coming it seems?
Silo, sci-fi so not one for my Mrs but again, I enjoyed it and well, Rebecca Ferguson...

    Netflix
The Night Agent, pretty good American spy/action series
The Watcher, spooky house stuff but decent enough
The Diplomat, US ambassador has a lot to deal with...
Kaleidoscope, about a mega heist, but the way the timeline is presented was interesting.
The Lincoln Lawyer series 2 - I thought this got off to a slow start but did pick up and would recommend.
Painkiller - definately mentioned above, Matthew Broderick is very good in this.

Seems a second series is made but not on Netflix yet.
Both series are on ITVx. Didn’t think the second was quite as good as the first though.

I've been re-watching Mindhunter. Two seasons on Netflix, unfortunately doesn't look like there will be a third.

Based on a book, details the establishment of Behavioural Sciences in the FBI which entails the interviewing of serial killers in order to understand their patterns of behaviour. It is an absolutely stonking show, but not if you're at all squeamish. It's very dark. Jonathan Groff is fantastic in it.

Goodness me no...not even for money...vulnerable people with mental health issues don't need cameras 24/7, they need counselling and care...Back in the bad old days for their amusement rich people would pay to go and look at the poor gibbering devils being held in Bedlam...now it's televised across the land...ah progress, civilisation.

Nowhere near new but Yellowstone has become a multi-season binge watch in our house, and I don’t event like cowboys, or I thought I didn’t.

I just finished the 18-episode series of Jett, starring Carla Gugino. I thought that I had only seen the first few epsisodes but now I realize I had seen all 18. With my fading memory, I never knew what was coming next anyway!

Just started re-watching Life on Mars on iPlayer.

Absolute genius. I thought it was brilliant back in 2006, and it stands up today.

Some cracking one liners from Gene Hunt.

Lioness on Paramount is worth a watch.

CIA black ops and murky politics plus a plastic surgery fcked-up Nicole Kidman, written by the prolific Taylor Sheridan

Finished Netflix's "The Night Agent" last night.

Good spy/conspiracy/White House style thriller. Kept me hooked for the whole 10 episodes. By no means highbrow.

Thanks for the recommendation - the premise didn't appeal when it first came round, so I gave it a miss. Thoroughly enjoying it now!

I completely agree, Ahsoka is terrible.
To start with, I wasnt sure. After episode 3, I was 100% sure thats it for me and wont be watching any more.

Two big scenes were a complete rip off of A New Hope.
It almost seems as if Disney went, here is something we know you like, but with strong female characters.

Series 5 is coming soon, it's already out on FX. The original movie is also worth watching, and there are several references to it in the TV series.

Interesting, but very slow burn. It is getting better though.

I love all of this Star Wars expanded universe stuff, but I'm with the latter here.
Miscast, amateur-hour acting and a very wishy-washy story. I'm three episodes in and ready to give up.

Plus the droids... how f**king annoying?? Just stick to beeps instead of British accents please.

Entertaining if only for the very succulent Jenna Coleman

Yeah it’s really good with a few plot twists……… annoyingly we started watching it on Netflix to find they only have the rights for series 1 and 4.

5 episodes in and I'm a little underwhelmed to be honest.

Speaking personally, I’ve read the books and the series matches those really well. On its own maybe it doesn’t stack up that well but if you’ve read the bookies the series is superb.

Still my favourite, and my youngest's. Sure it helped her with live (on the dead) anatomy in her 1st year though.

I'll give Mindhunter a go, thanks.
