    Vikings

Final season now on Amazon Prime, I'm not a huge telly buff but this is hands down the best series I've ever watched.

I like medical dramas and happened across Transplant and from there onto Nurse Jackie, neither are as good as Greys anatomy or House but decent all the same

There seems to be a bit of a Sopranos tie in with Nurse Jackie, main character being Edie Falcal, her husband, a lot of episodes directed by Steve Buscemi and Im sure the producer John Melfi was involved as I remember hearing something on the sopranos podcast about the Melfis getting their name from a writer

If you have only seen the first Fargo, quit now, its a bit like getting an Eagle up the first, its only going one way, and fast

Thanks for the heads up. Interestingly, they've released all of the episodes at once rather than rationing them out, two at a time.
    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Think its June to be honest. Agree, Beth is brilliant! To be fair the whole cast is superb. One of the best shows around at the minute.

Started watching "Little Fires Everywhere" on Prime - about 4 episodes in and quite different, in sort of a good way.

After recommendation on here, I watched all 3 seasons of Kingdom in fairly quick succession. It's not in the same league as The Wire or Breaking Bad, but is an excellent watch. But trashy at times, but some really good acting performances - not least from the actor playing Jay Kulina!

I loved Lilyhammer! Watched it years ago and binge watched in a week or so. Think it was the sopranos link of main character that first sold it to me. Like you say nothing excelled but was oddly hooked.

Coyote. New series starring Hank from Breaking Bad. Mexican/US focus on people and drug smuggling.

Watched every episode on the iPlayer. We thoroughly enjoyed it although it does seem a little sedate.

I was constantly amazed at what they did and how they got away with it.

We nearly ditched at Ep2. Pleased we hung in.

    Enjoy

The Serpent definitely gets better after a couple of episodes, the first are a bit slow but worth it as they build the story really well.

We ploughed through the whole thing in a couple of nights, best thing I've seen on the beeb in a while.

Not sure if its been mentioned here but Carnival Row is good. Like GoT, it starts off slowly and gets better and better.

I somehow lost track of Spiral after series 3, so now they are all on the i-player I have some catching up to do. Series 4 brings me to 2012.

(You remember 2012, when the French looked longingly over at the UK with its positive, optimistic outlook)

For those that liked The Queens Gambit there is another show called Godless on Netflix by the same guy. Absolutely superb and as much as I liked Gambit I thought Godless was better.
