I watched first three episodes, and I am really enjoying it so far. Be warned, this is brainchild of Amy Sherman-Palladin (of Gilmore Girls), so, we have a lot of rapid fire dialogues.
Bit to girly at times, nevertheless very funny.
I was mainly interested because they involved Lenny Bruce, and his character, although tone downed, is great.

We’ve just started watching this, brilliant and funny in lots of ways.

Just started 'Glitch' on Netflix, only a few episodes in and it has promise, small town Australia, 6 long dead people dig themselves out of the cemetery for an as yet unknown reason.

Been meaning to watch that, if its anything like the first season of The Preacher (remainder were not so good) I'll be happy

I just watched my first episode of The Boys. Found it to be good, but rather felt they were dropping us in at the deep end - character backstories must be coming a bit later, I thought. Got to the end of the episode, and was rather surprised at the death of a major character and a rather big plot reveal. Then realized that my oldest had watched the whole series already, and I'd just watched the final episode. Ho hum.

A bit of a nuisance that. I don’t mind paying for entertainment occasionally and did buy series 1 and 2 from Amazon only to sign up for a months free trial of Netflix this weekend and see it’s included!

Started watching "The Family" on Netflix yesterday - it's a limited time documentary.

Intriguing and scarcely believable at times, if it weren't for the real life footage and interviews. Quite an eye-opener!

We watched a few episodes yesterday too, mad stuff, even allowing for journalistic licence it’s pretty incredible viewing.

Succession is worth a look. About the head of a global media empire based in manhattan, and how his pampered/ungrateful family argue and backstab over who will or won't be his eventual successor. Humorous in parts and quite eye opening when you see how they manipulated news to suit their own agenda (probably very close to reality)

For anyone interested in true crime, Murder Mountain is worth a watch on Netflix.

And for a bit of drama, Euphoria is great, really interesting and graphic insight into teenage life, but not your typical teenage angst tv show.

Yes, enjoyed both. Very good and very different.
Both dark, umbrella, also funny moments and a welcome change from the usual super hero BS we see.

Watched first few episodes of new Mindhunter last night, superb as usual. Definitely recommend! The first season stood up to a fresh viewing last week in anticipation too, I really love it. Great premise, characters, dialogue, tone, and lost of all - score and soundtrack!

The second season has started well with some new developments and the long-standing tease of a potential killer continuing to play out. Can't wait to see where the rest of the season takes us.

I'm 3 episodes in 'Better Than Us', a Russian Netflix series, which is shaping up quite nicely. It deals with Asimov's 3 laws of robotics and if you liked Humans, Westworld, Ex Machina, Blade Runner, etc., it's probably for you. Also, because Russian women.

t j? I quite like it to be honest, its slightly different from the norm for this sort of thing being set in canada. Think of it as a modern day Narcos, season one is based on true events and I believe the 2nd season (which I'm part way through) is entirely fictional. Kim Coates (sons of anarchy) is the lead and is pretty good.

Season Two of TRAPPED on Amazon Prime. Season One wowed me, not quite as astounding this time out but still very good. Except ... I hate hate HATE stupid characters who do things that beyond common sense. Couple of instances of that.

I agree, it's excellent, Baron Cohen is a little bit Borat at times, but not enough stop you believing the story.

It's a great story, based on real events, and made by someone with a great CV including Prisoners of War, which became Homeland, in the West.

I have watched the first 2 and am struggling a bit. Story so far isn’t all that compelling but the main issue is Orlando Bloom. I am having a hard time with him playing a tough cockney copper. He just doesn’t seem very good in it so far. Worth sticking with ?

I was like that at the start but an now looking forward to the next series. The mixture of mythical fantasy and modern refugee issues I found compelling.
