Welcome! You do like a busy dial don't you? Nice trio.
I'm thinking that saving two years for a watch is not something you hear of very often on watch forums.
Feeling rather disappointed in myself now
Yes it would seem that way haha, I do like the Aviation Style watch and the 2 x Citizens where the only ones in their range I really liked the look of.
I had always wanted a Navitimer and love the Cosmonautes still might well end up with one in years to come! But I was actually considering buying the Less Busy looking Breitling Avenger Blackbird 44. However when I went into my local Dealer yesterday and got looking at the display cabinets I noticed the Chronospace Limited Edition Blacksteel, I had always loved this watch but it was out of my price-range at £6200 so never really looked into purchasing one! That and the fact they are so rare with only 1000 made so you just don't see them.
Well they had it reduced just for this weekend and at the price I got it for I could not walk away
Thanks Simon
Absolutely, pure admiration.
If I had saved all the money I've spent on watches (and straps and servicing and postage) over the last 28 months I could now be buying the watch I fell for in September 2013 but regarded as an unobtainable grail.
Still, I've had a lot of fun, and look how many watches I've got!
I'm not really a Breitling fan, but that does look very nice.
Welcome aboard.
That is what its all about and for me the enjoyment I get from Researching, Viewing, Owning and indeed Wearing a watch, At the time I bought my first Citizen I really struggled to justify spending the £500 on a watch. I told myself that it would be a watch for life and I would never buy another.....Fast forward 2 years LOL.
I consider myself very lucky to be able to own them, I feel good when wearing them and its a hobby/interest none of my friends are into or really get why I do it.
I actually had butterflies yesterday when I was sat in Beaverbrooks buying the Breitling, Have to say the level of service I received was amazing. They knew how much it meant to me and had remembered me when I have visited the shop over the last year or so window shopping. It felt really personal and ofcourse made handing over a considerable amount of money that bit easier LOL.
Thanks Simon
Welcome, I admire your will power!
Hi there nice watches, and welcome to the forum.
I love the background to this collection, and your story on treatment at Beaverbrooks was lovely to hear.
I'm wondering what next? There have been a few comments on your love for a busy dial, do you think this continue or will your next watch be someth completely different? Or maybe with your grail purchased this is it?
Welcome and a nice collection of watches.
Hello and welcome. I have several Citizens and Seikos from when I first started out and they are fantastic value for money. Your Breitling looks great, I've not seen that model before. It's good that you get butterflies as it is a lot of money that we spend on our hobby, within our own self imposed limits and to lose that sensation I feel would be to lose your inbuilt reality check. See you around the forum be sure to check out our hosts military timepieces, bet you will like them a lot.
Hi and welcome to the forum

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the pictures.
Hi & welcome. That collection's heading in the right direction.
Id not seen those Citizens before; thanks for posting.
