I'm dreaming of another possible dress watch and the VC is the most appealing at the moment. Which one of these do you prefer or perhaps you have another alternative?

Vacheron for me, it looks more interesting to my eye.
The PP Calatrava 5227 for me.
The yellow VC for a 'dress watch' or the yellow PP for an office watch.
I voted for the 1815, but I'd go for an Up Down. I wish they hadn't sliced the # 6 with the sub-dial they way they have on the 1815

It was the second hand which swung it. I like one but I'm not a big fan of the little dials. In fact I often set the stopwatch running on my Portuguese just so it looks right.
How about Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda 1950?
PP for me.
PP Calatrava for me also, white gold model in the middle out of the three pictured.

It would be the Richard Lange for me every time.
- Roman numerals just work on a dress watch
- No subdials or date windows cluttering up the place
- The tiny red 15, 30, 45 and 60 for a flourish of daring!

The Richard Lange for me too. Second place would be the 5227 but I would go for the white gold version. Close third place would be the 1815 in rose gold but echo andy's comments and would push for the up/down version

Like white metal, stick dials and prefer the case to the pp.
i dont think arabics are very dress. Or roman numerals, really.

I voted VC because of the sub seconds. However, my preference would be a Calatrava with sub seconds:

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions so far! It looks like it will be a close call between VC, Patek, and Lange (as expected). The VC Traditionnelle really seems to have the perfect combination of classic watchmaking and modern design elements.
I have thought about the Tonda in the past, but I think lumed hands doesn’t seem appropriate for a dress watch.
Actually, I was close to buying a Mayu before and still not sure why I didn’t. Perhaps I will consider the Monard…
I’m really just dreaming here (or planning for the future perhaps), so let’s just say £25k (based on chrono24 prices). Any metal is fine as long as the final product looks good overall.
Not that I can afford one.. But the calatrava 5227 in rose gold for me..

As an independent company with a consistent and distinctive design language, I find a lot to like with them.
Of the ones you mention, the 1815 would be my choice.
But looking at the other suggestions, I'm go for the Moser.

- The neither-here-nor-there length of the VC minute hand is annoying.
- The Richard Lange is, actually, the Traditionelle of the group.
- The Patek aesthetic is bland or, in many of their watches, a bit clumsy.
- The GP is, very sadly, now just a less-than-top-of-the-range Swatch item.
So, the 1815 it must be.
Good summary, though I don't believe that GP has ever been within Swatch Group. They seem be a very innovative watchmaking company for their size, and it's always nice to see that they're still in the industry.
By the way, I'm glad that I'm not the only one who finds that Patek's designs have been a bit weak lately. The 5196P posted above is the least-worst Calatrava posted so far, though it's still rather obvious that the movement was intended for a much smaller case. They appear to be a very complacent company, in my opinion.
From the above, definitely VC.

I feel that the Richard Lange exudes elegance and taste.
Of the OP's original choices it would be the Richard Lange for me. It exudes class (in all fairness they all do to a degree) and stands out above the others for me. Of the following suggestions the Jules Audemars is my choice and indeed the one I would plump for ultimately...
Until somebody throws a H Moser and Cie into the equation. Oh those dials!!!

1815 in any combo, closely followed by the VC. Moser is also a good shout but not that odd looking thing without markers...
I know it's a Swatch too, but maybe a Breguet 5157?
I voted for the Lange 1875, because it's the one I like the look of the most, but I'd not actually buy one because the cutaway 6 would drive me mad and for that kind of money (even if I had it to spare!) I'd want the watch to be perfect for me!

I voted for the PP, but really I was voting for this one rather than the one posted. For me it's the one to go for, as close to perfect as anything I've seen. The size, the finish of the dial, a little extra interest in the sub-seconds, spot on. Nothing wrong with the other one if the size is right of course, but I'd take this over all the other options.
