She's a very friendly, well-behaving and adventurous kitten.
The dog and the kitten go well. The kitten thinks that a Rottweiler's ear is the best thing to play with. And the dog is fine with that. Our other Maine Coon (11 months) and the kitten don't go well. The older is hissing and making 'dark noises', but in essence it looks as if he's scared. Any tips how to deal with that are very welcome.

Fostered these two little brothers through the rspca for five weeks. Born outside so technically feral but in reality no different to normal kittens.
Now with their new owners probably creating havoc….

They can be huge! Our female MC is about 8 kgs. I heard from the guy who owns the cattery that her one year older brother (same mom and dad) is now hitting 12 kg! They grow until they're 4 y/o! And with this big cat there's a big personality!
Our Norwegian Forest Cat is a male and about the same size as the female MC. He's the friendliest cat ever. And my youngest son's big friend. Sits all day on his desk when my son's doing his work for the uni or plays online games.
He was gift to my daughter from a cousin, and I have to say has settled in with our other pets extremely well.
Never knew this breed, but we are convinced he thinks he's a dog, and lays down with the 2 labradors like he's one of the gang. He cleans their ears bizarrely, chirps in the evening around the "witching hour", and is constantly working stuff out.
Lovely character, just didn't realise they got so big! He'll be eating dog food at this rate.
I’ve had a few MC over the years and they are really affectionate and grow to incredible sizes, The last 2 I had would go through a 20kg bag of Royal Canon Maine Coon food a month as well as the occasional rabbit. My ex took my last one and it’s just died last month at 16 year old so they do last a long time. It will be a good hot water bottle if you let it into bed.

Blimey! Funnily enough he sleeps under my daughters blankets next to her or around her head at night. Did notice that Royal Canon Maine Coon food recently. When did you start feeding yours on it? (age wise). I'm sure mine is already tucking into the other cats senior food.
It's has cat hardware and dog software. Last week we had guests who had a dog with them; a labradoodle or something. That dog spotted the MC and started barking and moved forward. Our cat sat there with a: "I'm calling your bluff mate" attitude. The dog backed down and circled away. The labradoodle owners: "We've never seen him do this!" We: "She's used to a big Rottweiler, she's not scared easily!"
