Usual morning spot for Izzy. She’s coming up to 15 now.
A better pic of Louie! He's currently living in my wife's office, adjacent to the house. There's a corridor between her office and the main part of the house. Three days ago, he was afraid of everything. Now he has become a real escape artist: trying to explore the rest of the house. A quick rush through the corridor/hall and he was in the kitchen, where the Rottweiler pup lives... The dog was sound asleep and didn't notice the kitten racing in front of his nose.

Louie today. Exactly thirteen weeks old. Now 2 kilos and the size of a full-grown European Shorthair.
I’m not very well dressed. I just came in for a tea after a stint of wood splitting

Clara is a pretty girl. Seal point by the looks.
I have two. My girl Poppy says hello!
I can’t resist slipping this one in of my lovely little Siamese baby girl; plus a gratuitous shot of my Rolex Deep Sea Sea Dweller.
Cold outside, but positively balmy in the greenhouse.
The new additions

Lewis, 8 weeks in our home. Trying to explore a part of the woods behind the house (supervised by my wife)
It’s still a very friendly and vocal cat. He loves people around him

Will and twin brother Eddie. Supposed to be British Short Hairs but I suspect there’s something a bit wild in them (especially Eddie).

Daily routine at 4pm, he reminds me it is nearly time for food, and I spend an hour with the keyboard on my legs. He will find it tough when he gets left alone again.
Mrs W has recently adopted this stray waif that was living in the barn.
Skiddles has settled right on in.
Got a bit of a “Clarence” thing goin’ on

This fella (Moe) is getting on a bit and is on borrowed time (19/20 ish, rescue cat so not totally sure) but still very cuddly and cute. Time for his meds.
Poppy knows she is not allowed on the kitchen counter…
I know its out there somewhere!

Charlie (right) was big for a cat. A friend once described him as a shire cat that could pull a milk float. He was a gentle giant though, but when he jumped up on your lap it was like someone dropping a car battery on you.
These pics are from 2015. They're all grown up now of course.
Three kittens living outside before they (and their mum) moved in.
And two of them after they moved in. The other one was playing nearby.
Shortly after getting a male Maine Coon, my wife decided to get another one, but only wanted one after our first one was neutered. That was done last month. So, enter our latest addition to the stable: a female Maine Coon with the name Pebbles. Pebbles is 16 weeks old and already settting HER boundaries. Currently she's staying in my wife's home office, trying to climb on my wife's lap.
The male M.C. has spotted his new 'sister' but that needs some 'additional work', ironing out the hostilities. Introducing her to the Rottweiler will take a few extra days. One step at the time. We know that our Rottweiler Elvis and our first Maine Coon Louie go wel together. So we have high hopes that Pebbles will blend in as well.

Had Tommy for nine months now and he definitely owns the house as only cats can do!

Sorry, no photo, but someone has dumped three kittens at our house a few days back. One has gone missing, but two are persisting. I’m not a cat person, and the wife is allergic so I’ve converted an empty coal bunker to temporary accommodation.
Apart from feeding them, is there much more I can do? I’ve messaged the local refuge to see if anyone wants them. I must admit they’re quite cute and very playful, and the kids love them, but it’s just not gonna be a case of us adopting them unless they take a shine to the coal bunker.
