Blimey that brings back memories. I had one of those - the calculator that is.

Very nice, thanks for posting those. I love watches from the early 70s, they make up about 85% of my collection!

I like a majority of the old 70s chronos people have posted but this is one of my faves along with the Lemania Silverstone that Ed335d posted too. Two watches I hope to be able to afford (and find) one day!

Hopefully next week I will have something interesting to post myself!

That's the first Omega Yachting chrono I've seen in the wild, a rere beast indeed. Apart from mine of course!

You need to get that internal scale ring sorted out though.

It was brand new when I took the pic, but could not resist the lights:

Ive been missing out but not any longer...

So many cool chronos on this thread. I really feel like Ive been missing out so today I took a few quick dirty shots of the only two chronos I own.

    1. Omega Speedsonic: It seems that financ beat me too it by an hour but I'm posting mine anyway, as I have different 5 minute markers on mine. The mesh looks good however I've gone back to the bracelet on mine. I do really like the way the light catches the dial. It's a decent sized watch for my chunky wrists and I do have a soft spot for tuning fork movements. It needs a bit of work on the case, when I get the funds to do it.

    2. Zenith El Primero TV / Big blue: I recently acquired this one early December and it has not left my wrist since. Again another 70's cool classic with a nice chunky design. I just can't seem to stay away from these blue dials either. Got a bit of minor work to do on it, hand polishing some of the minor scuffs off the case mirror finish just below the crystal and on the crystal itself.

    Keep em coming everyone!

    Last one form me...

One final photo of my latest incoming. It is an Omega Speedmaster Mark III with a blue dial. Please excuse the finger print, I was in a hurry.

That's it now, I'm skint! :-) I'm going to have to start selling things soon.

    It’s a beauty.
Just don’t send it back to LVMH as I did mine.

I like it when threads like this get bumped, although it's a shame that photobucket has screwed up so many of the original images.

Here are some more with a splash of colour.

Some very strong contenders there. I’m toying with selling my bb58 as I’m finding it’s lack of colour means I don’t wear it that much
