"He, like any other civilian, might have thought it a bit odd if I started a wristwatch conversation."

I reckon celebrities must get bored everytime someone comes up to them and talks about their show/industry and what great fans they are etc etc. i know i would especially when you're not working. He might have liked to have a conversation about his watch and which models he likes. Of course he could have just walked into his local branch of Goldsmiths, chucked Ł10k on the desk and just asked what that will buy me so i can show it off despite knowing next to nothing about it.

What was Putin wearing in the sit down with Megan Kelly?
Looked like some kind of a pilot watch.

One of the "pop stars" on the Manchester concert had a Nautilus on.

Just watched the Williams (Formula One) film. Lots of Watch Spotting opportunity.
P.S. Is it just nostalgia or was it better back in the '80s ?

Probably can't afford new jeans after paying over Ł10k for a Bronze watch, lol. Although he can probably sell it for over double what he paid if previous bronze panerai are anything to go by.

    I think.

Even less sure about the watch.

Brian Sewell. An extremely witty and entertaining iconoclast (pace the foregoing).

I'd recommend his Channel 5 series, The Grand Tour and The Naked Pilgrim.

But I'd also quite like to know what's on his wrist....

    Celebrity watch spot

    Thank you to the above...

“...dire mix of sexual and class hypocrisy, intellectual posturing and artistic prejudice”.

    - I think he sounds rather good fun actually.

Watching Salvage Hunters S4 (E3) and Drew looks to be wearing a (Re-issue) Monaco McQueen.
Think I've also spotted him wearing a Datejust and, in more recent episodes, an Omega ?

And if your tax avoidance planning has been successful, treat yourself to something nice

You never actually own a Patek, you eventually hand it over to HMRC

That's about as funny as Jimmy himself. i.e. reliant on other comedians/not very funny/he could probably buy that watch 600 times over even after paying all his tax.
