Well since that post I've added a brand new Sub LV which I really wanted back since I sold mine too cheap in 2016.

I wore the BLNR for 3 years solid then I bought the SD in November and wore it daily for 8 weeks whilst my BLNR was in for service.

The LV I havent worn yet but know it wont get a tonne of wear from when I last had it.

The SD, and Exp II & BLNR I see getting the most wear in that order. The YM is super special but won't be a daily wearer.

great looking box full there mate!
    What’s next on the hitlist?
I agree I own the Yachtmaster aswell I think it’s the best looking and good for comfort but not for everyday wear, that I go for my blnr! But I can see why your SD gets most wrist time just a start looking all rounder I think ..

Love this Submariner. Watch Doctor just serviced for £330 inc. overhaul, mainspring, rotor axle, centre wheel, cannon pinion, new seals, polish, case and bracelet refurb.
I mentioned them in my last post but thought it was relevant to mention them again as their service was spectacular and completed this Watch in the time it took an AD to quote!

My SD43 with a little crude editing. Prompted by the current fake Daytona thread, perhaps we should all be mindful that it's very easy to publish your serial number on the engraved rehaut.

Not on my 14060M random serial number the rehaut just says Rolex. Rolex. R.....

I think I might have over done this a little bit. Problem is that I just don't know how to consolidate.

Thank you Colin :) it took me literally years to get a matte gmt, including a painful effort to trade for the new ceramic gmt, but victory at last! ;)

I still have your gmt2, but I really dont think Im ever going to sell, its just perfect.. i also happen to have a 5digit bicolor gmt, so now its maybe the right time to slowly start looking for a fg to complete the band?! ;))

A break from all the sports watches:

The joke is, of course, that it’s just as capable of handling daily life as the ‘sports’ models. 10 atm, lock-down crown, same rugged , shock-proof movement, a case that can dent and mark, like all the others....
A friend has been wearing an early DayDate for more than twenty years, swimming and diving in it almost every week.
    Looks great.

Parphhh to all this sports model hype, like above, this old thing has certainly been in some scrapes. Hardly Red Adair scrapes, but certainly more hazardous than most of those safe queen desk divers

Love the look of that. Simple yet classy. No Cyclops which is great. Looks aged? What's the reference?

Very nice indeed; all the Oyster Perpetual are tough ,resilient, watches. That’s the basis of their success over many decades.
The ‘sports’ stuff is really about marketing.....I rather like the SD43, but it’s no more useful in the real world than a standard, basic, OP.
