New Addition - CWC Automatic Diver

    Hi all,

Just want to share a CWC Automatic Diver that I happened to chance on.
The patina + small 'T' was just too nice to ignore...it's my poor man's Omega 300m Military Seamaster!

Please execute the poor pictures, especially the last one.

The caseback's inscribed with the following numbers -

    6645-99
    9237697
    87-84
    139317

Anyone know what the above inscriptions mean?
Just a inventory number or would it disclose when it was made, where was it sold etc?
Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA!

    Chye

That's a stunner - really like it. It's an 84 and there's some debate over whether it was issued or not. From what I've read these originated out of Hong Kong - if you do a search on MWR (cwc Hong kong) you'll find some info.
Where did you pick it up? There's one on ebay that's been for sale for eons at around £1900
PS first dibs if you ever want shot of it !!!

    shouldn't it have fixed bars??
or where they replace with regular spring bars?

    Red face CWC Trio

It should have fixed bars but I did see some samples have the bars removed.

Attached is the picture for reference.

    Sorry for poor picture quality...

    Yes, found the Ebay listing.

    Thank you for your input.

    Wow! 3 of them!
Judging from the size of the 'T', they came in 3 sizes, and mine's a Tall!

They are not really the same

The dial font, w/o circle CWC logo and bezel are not really the same.

These watches are interesting cos very limited background information.

Yeah that one's just been put up yet again for a knock down £1850... That's about triple what they've sold for on eBay the last few times.
