    Rolex 'hulk'

Hi guys, possibly being made redundant in the next year or so and I've eecently taken a liking to the hulk rolex, so as a redundancy present thought I could buy myself one only thing is I've never seen one in the flesh! Anybody on here own one? And have any wrist shots I could see?

    Cheers.

I own a hulk as well as the kermit
The kermit (16610lv) is a beautiful classics watch and is everything the 16610 isn't .

The ceramic 116610lv is a much sturdier watch but I find myself gazing at the forest green bezel and gloss dial more than I do gazing at the newer ceramic version. That said, it is a much more substantial

I am slowly learning to love it , but if push comes to shove I am a fan of the 16610lv more.

It's been said a million times but try both and see what you think.

Make sure you have a good look at the milgauss z-blue, my favourite Rolex. Don't own but tried it and will own one one day!

New sea dweller would be my choice for a Rolex diver.

Great. I hope you find a new satisfying job too. Maybe you should hold off on buying the watch until you have that to celebrate, unless you plan to retire. Rolex is a great choice.

Catch a ryanair flight to scandinavia or southern europe, somewhere with a weak currency, and save £££s

It turns from a Rolex Diver into a Muff Diver.

Just beware of the fakes. If you get caught out purchasing a fake Muff with your redundancy, it might leave a nasty taste in your mouth.

OP- you do know there's much debate on whether you can wear a Rolex sports watch in the shower, don't you?

... and get a discount as the southern Europeans seem to be able to knock money off unlike the UK ADs.

the LV is harder to get cheap than most rolex in southern europe as the supply isnt there really,

i ended up buying mine from watchfinder as with a discount it was nearly the same as the italian grey dealers
