    IWC SE model launch

Nice looking watch but the connection of the SE is a bit odd, imo only of course. Seeking a price on it now as it ticks a lot of boxes for something i've been seeking for a while, but the engraved endorsement on the movement is a bit meh, or is it?

I had a look at the annual calendar the other day - beautiful thing if you can take the size. I guess you would get over the 'March the 25th of Wednesday' thing... Eventually!

A London Film Festival special edition seems like a bit of a stretch though, unless you actually had a film in it or something.

Since discovered there is a regular version of the same watch though black or white dial with silver hands and black straps only. It was the blue elements that made the SE attractive to me though not the BFI element.

    Another one bites the dust

That annual calender is a thing of beauty, never seen a cleaner looking example.

The 8 Day is lovely, I prefer this blue version to the standard black.

Another one for my lottery list.
