What's your favourite time of the week?

Is it a lazy Sunday morning with a coffee and the papers?
A Friday night beer after a weeks work?
Which bit of the week do you look forward to?

Saturday brunch preferably in the sunshine. I'll take Friday eve out and Sunday brunch as well :)

Not Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays.

It has to be Sunday mornings, whilst the fabulous Ciclovía is on.

1600 any day when that first glass of wine is about to be dispensed.
Using 24 hour clock as I used to be RAF, now ROF (retired old fart).

Sunday all day, from when I wake up until bed time, just such a glorious day, sipping Coffee, going shopping, meeting friends, hanging out on forums, Sunday lunch/dinner and gaming in the evening till late.

10pm on a Friday, when I'm normally driving home from being away at work during the week - having just finished my weekday-evening 16km on the rowing machine. Weeks tend to go in a blur, 10-11 hour days in the office, 1.5 hour walk to and from work, and 1-1.5 hours on the rowing machine in the evening.

My discussion is usually when will Brian Matthews play a decent sixties song rather than his promise of next up being the Beatles then he playing some pressing they made in Hamburg. A bit like the OGWT where there's an occasional diamond in the rough. My wife just tells me to shut up. Still he played Hendrix's ' The Wind cries Mary' this week.

Friday afternoon. Coming back from the gym, quiet in the house before the boys get back from school. Although lately, most Friday afternoons are spent in the car, towing a trailer with a dinghy heading for another weekend for a sailing regatta somewhere in Germany, Holland, Belgium or even Northern France.

I have actually heard some real rarities that I missed first time around but of course you will always get stuff that doesn't appeal.

Brian did play my request a while back for Tapestry by Family and hoping for another soon.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

I don't think I enjoy any time of the week especially.

Work days can be good or bad, same with weekends.

I usually get some peace and quiet after 10PM ('Kids' - both adults now, but still living at home - either out or out of the way, wife in bed - she's a creature of habit...), but I'm often too tired to really enjoy that time.

Some days are just great, but others just seem a waste of 24 hours.

That program should really be called "sounds of 1960 to 1964" - he doesn't seem to like the later 66 to 69 stuff that we all want to hear. I think he is happier with Bernard Cribbens Digging a hole rather than Hole in my shoe by Traffic. TZ chain there !!

I think it is a good mix personally.

He played my Family request and my Mrs has just requested the MC5 for my birthday in October although I don't suppose we will hear, " Kick out the Jams Motherf******!" for one moment.
    Cheers,
    Neil.

Sounds good. What does 'gaming' mean for you, out of interest?

Ha - thought the same. I'm currently playing CoD Ghosts on the PS3 when I get the chance... though usually give up if I've had a couple of glasses of wine and my reactions are a bit off!

Saturdays. Usually given over to exploring during the day and drinking with friends at night. Job done.
Friday at 4 is always a pleasure too.
Sunday is always marred by Monday looming.

  33. #33
Anytime with friends and family having fun- so usually the weekend. Plus a Sunday roast with the kids at about 5pm, with a nice glass of something red.

Everyday is a good day when I get home from work and see my baby son. But Friday after work is best as it means the weekend to spend with my family.

I seem to be pretty steady and don't have regular times that I particularly hate or love. However, one of my favourites is if there is formula 1 on TV at a time when my wife has taken the kids somewhere. Stretching out on the sofa with a blanket and just the dog for company (him being the only other family member who enjoys F1) watching the race in peace and quiet is my idea of heaven.
