    Perlon buckles

I have a nice new perlon for my watch but the strap buckle is a bit generic (see pic)

Has anyone explored the option of 'nice' buckles?

Yes, I bought a Eulit one.

A bit of a waste because I couldn't find it without the strap (very holey brown one from OZ).

But the result is much improved as there is far less movement on the pin and it locates easily in the centre of the material.

When we last discussed Perlons on here in June, I got a pm from Guest telling me about this site

It was clearly to promote the site.

I have not bought one, but it looks like a good idea, and I note that they do a higher quality buckle, as well as Perlon straps in every 2mm increment from 18mm to 24mm.

Their photos indicate a rather ostentatious sartorial inclination, unlike many members here.

And they are all over insta this, face that and twit the other, but I cannot find a decent review of their "better" buckles.

But it seems a good idea.

Good luck if you use them.

The buckle in that does look nicer. Where did you order it from? I didn't say originally but I need a 22 mm one and I can't seem to find anywhere on Google.

Thanks. The better quality buckle looks suitably similar to the one on mine. Suspect it is the same manufacturer.

Yes that does look much nicer. But it looks stitched into the strap? Hard to tell on their website.

Eulit seems to be best choice but they don't seem to do 22mm ones.

    The search continues...!

I bought a NATO perlon from a guy on eBay by the name of Aliasmarlow, the perlon is slightly expanding so will fit 20/22mm and it comes with a better buckle. The quality of the strap is quite nice but only comes in black.

All of my straps are Eulit - they are the only Perlon ones that I have taken to. The Eulit buckles look and feel good to me.

I got mine from this guy, well recommended, but nothing over 20mm wide I am afraid.

Eulit is the way to go in my experience on this.

The only ones actually made of perlon, as far as I know.
