If they offered a buckle version for the Explorer II I'd buy one today.

Sadly not, I did email and ask if they had any intention of producing one soon, here's what I got back.

"At this time, we do not offer the tang buckle version for the new Explorer II 42mm. However, maybe our new Structure Series will have something interesting for you. It was just released today and the 20mm version fits your watch! ;-)

Thank you for your interest in Rubber B, and have a nice day."

The 20mm fits your watch? Is the 42mm not 21mm lug then?

It is indeed 21mm, I had a quick browse of the Structure Series anyway but they do nothing for me.

    Explorer 2 has 20mm lugs.

I really don't like the 'ridge' down the centre of these straps. Having owned a PO which I much preferred on OEM rubber, a few Panerai that I regularly wore on the OEM straps, and having worn an isofrane on my U1 for a while, I'm not really a fan of the look of these rubber b straps. I also wonder how long the orange will stay that colour? I've had a few lighter coloured g shocks that pick up staining that just can't be removed? - I guess I'd have to see one in the flesh but look a bit strange imho

Is that a 22mm Isofrane on the Explorer? I've read they do fit quite easily due to being fairly pliable, did you have to trim it down at all?

I like the Rubber B but I think the Rolex oyster bracelet is just superb and couldn't see me taking it off. Out of the three rubber bands here, the Isofrane is my favorite, it really suits the explorer.

Does anyone happen to know if you can buy a generic clasp which could be used in conjunction with the Rubber B on the Explorer 2?

I've been looking on the Strapcode website at their range but not 100% sure if any would be a direct replacement.

As much as I like the orange Rubber B I don't want to use my Rolex clasp.

Everest used to do a clone of the Rolex clasp but can't seem to find it on the site anymore!

I don't do "keepers" but never even thought about letting this one go in the ~4 years I've owned it, great watch.

Can't beat a bit of bright orange to cheer you up. And everyone who sees it. Bravo for such a bold choice.

Thet do look great and I've been tempted by the RubberBs but the new Rolex bracelets are a step up in quality from the old ones. I enjoy putting them on too much warrent a change.

do you reckon a blue rubber b or everest would fit a pelagos? it's the same case and lug width essentially.
    Any ideas guys?

That explains a lot, my 22mm straps are to tight and my 20mm straps slide side to side .

You need to use the clasp from your Rolex bracelet.

The full lug width rubber on the DSSD looks fantastic.
I only wish they did one for the SD4000...

You can get a rubber b for a Sd4000. I've considered it a few times. The price keeps putting me off.

I agree the lug overhang on the DSSD RB strap does suit the case very well and do wish it was offered on other variants especially the 116600

Does anyone know whether the Rubber B strap with the pin buckle could be used with the Rolex clasp if you remove the buckle?
Or are they different straps entirely and you can't remove the pin buckle?
