Mike Hawthorn's watch - and more...

Last week, we visited the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. For every petrolhead a 'must see' I think. Apart from the cars, there's a hall of fame. One of the famous drivers & world title winners is Mike Hawthorn. There's a large pic of Mike's victory and clearly visible a nice looking vintage chronograph.

I took two pics of Hawthorn, including the watch. Taking a closer look at the last pic, I noticed something odd on Hawthorn's wrist, just behing the watch. Any idea what it is?

I'd say it was the jacket cuff too, how else would the sleeve be held at 3/4 otherwise

I've been to to the museum there aswell, was a great day out, did you drive a Ferrari whilst there? I really enjoyed razzing a 458 whilst there!

We also went to the Lamborghini factory which for me was even better, being allowed in the factory made it better than the museum only at Ferrari
