Not quite the same money but I much prefer my Helson Shark Diver 40 on the supplied Isofrane-a-like Cuda rubber strap.

For me, the Seiko SKX is best on rubber. Preferably a Bonetto Cinturini.

MM300 - but not the original Seiko one.

Only today, I swapped the bracelet on my Hamilton Khaki GMT for the superb OEM rubber, which IMO is a major improvement:

Any PO - but especially the 2500. I've had a few of them, but only kept the 2500 on rubber, as it looks great and it's so comfortable!

Ah, but have you tried your Pelagos on the rubber yet? Pics if you do please (or we'll have to get Robbie on to it).

I know they only come on rubber, but I have to say I love the understated (if you can say that!) look of Richard Mille's straps - the contrast of having a $100k rose gold tourbillion on rubber (rather than a gold bracelet, exotic alligator, gloss leather, etc.) really works, IMHO.

Ulysse Nardin Marine Divers. - they look fantastic on their unique rubber straps with metal inlay. Did I mention I am looking for a blue one? :-)

    Longines Hydro:

    Steel:

    Rubber:

When I bought this watch I ordered rubber bracelet directly with it, and luckily I did. Steel bracelet is clumsy and very heavy, but rubber is really quality stuff. It is much to say that Longines rubber beats even Omega. I know that because I also own SMP chrono. With rubber. Yes. :)

PRS-68. I've not owned one but I think it will be my next diver purchase. I love it on the waffle.

EDIT - now I have one I've changed my mind, I prefer the bracelet.

This^^^ and not only do the watches look great, but the whole wearing experience changes, a heavy watch on a bracelet loses about two thirds of its weight and quite a lot of bulk.

The stickers never came off the bracelet, far too heavy for me. Tried it on black leather, and then a tan Hirsch Liberty, which looked very nice, but I like it best on the supplied rubber......

I think many people feel that buying a watch on a Strap or Rubber is somehow getting less and whilst theres no bracelet it is all about the watch for me, the head of the watch always looks sharper and has more pop on the strap or rubber as it does not get lost in the bracelet and 80% less stress about scratching. I tend to go for leather in the winter and rubber through summer although I have just hypocritically popped on a Panerai 352 on a Ti Bracelet for the day! ;(

Funnily enough i tried mine (exactly the same watch) on every strap going but it remains on the bracelet, it is a heavy watch but my concern was more about the PCL,s getting scratched.

I could bot find anything that worked so should probably have gone with the Longines rubber straight away, one thing i do like about the bracelet is the wrist presence and as it is not my everyday wearer its nice to wear occassionally

Thanks for posting pics though and if i keep hold of mine i will ine day invest in the rubber

I'm not usually a rubber fan but my Tudor Pelagos looks great on the rubber it comes with and it is not too long!

Being OCD with my watches my concern with bracelets has been scratching as previously mentioned.
Tended to steer clear of the metal as a result. I have however now retired so no risk of desk damage.
With that I treated myself to my first watch with bracelet a Rolex Deepsea and love this....just seems to belong more to this watch with its tapered shape.
My preference is for a rubber strap however, tried the bracelet on my Omega PO's and went back to rubber. (And sold the bracelet) Bought a bracelet for a PAM90 and quickly decided the watch looked better on rubber.
Tried on a Zenith Stratos with a bracelet and hated its cheap feel....so went for rubber.
Rubber is more durable, easy to clean, comfortable to wear in summer and looks great on deployment.

I'm inclined to agree. I reluctantly switched my Shark Diver over to the supplied rubber after I noticed one of the screw links was coming loose on the bracelet. I intended to switch it straight back after tightening but it looked so good, within minutes I was smitten. Since then, every diver I've seen looks best on rubber. The latest diver I saw in the flesh was the Superocean on black rubber and it looked superb.

As others have said, I think rubber de-blings a bracelet diver and this is perfect for my every day casual vibe.

My Edox is also made for rubber. The rubber really hugs the case, making for a great look.

Much prefer my mid sized blue SMP on rubber: for me the bracelet is fussy and dated, and I've never quite got the sizing right.

I still haven't tried mine on the rubber as the bracelet is so comfortable, but really want to try it on an ISOfrane after seeing SL's pics

This, the Bonetto Cinturini just get's better with age and a perfect match for the 007.
I had a Breitling Superocean professional that was on a bracelet, far too heavy just wished I'd tried it on rubber before I'd sold it as I would probably of kept it.I agree with the comment that a rubber does appear to reduce some of the weight of the watch head, which is no bad thing for me.
Anyone looking for a Nato rubber take a look at the Bonetto Cinturini as they're quite thin, very stretchy but super comfortable.

I know what you mean :)

I have had the PO 8500 caliber and the 300m with 2500d caliber... for the PO I bought 2 extra half links and for the 300m I had 4 half links in the bracelet :)

But after that the size was really good!!

The Fortis B42 Cosmo bracelet is actually quite good...

But... I've been wearing it on this orange 'frane-a-like' for about a month now, for summer, and it's not going back on the bracelet for the forseeable future.
