    Orient Star

This arrived yesterday, as a stopgap, until I can justify getting a blue Aqua Terra ref 2503.33.00

Comes on a bracelet, but I put it straight onto a navy blur leather strap.

Pretty good quality, considering the price, and unbelievably good time keeping so far........ +1 second in 24 hours

No strap is just a cheapy I've had ages. Think I got it to put on my Stowa Marine, but never got round to fitting it.

That looks lovely mate. I don't normally like power reserve watches as they tend to clutter up the dial, but placing that indicator centrally certainly helps keep the dial clean. Are those blued hands ? They are a very nice touch
Good luck everybody. Have a good one.

That's a great looking Orient, love those blue hands and the domed crystal.

Thanks I'm pretty chuffed with it, never had an Orient before, so it was a bit of a punt.

I know what you mean about clutter, and as you say this is very well laid out

Hands are blue but not blued, so a little brighter than you'd expect. Domed crystal and a display back, though the movement is pretty plain.

Mind me asking how much you paid for the watch?

Orient Star are good watches, and they have in-house movements for all the movement snobs
