    My new Breitling :-)

Hello fellow TZ'ers, a special day for me today as I've just managed to purchase Mr dream Watch due to a 40% sale at an AD near where I live, the Watch in question is a Breitling chronomat 44 with the B01 in-house movement, I can honestly say if I won the Jack pot on the lotto there would be no better Watch, so I feel lucky!

With it being early in the honeymoon period I have been snapping away in the garden with my Phone so apologies for the poor pics you may see here!

Would also like to thank a couple of TZ members ach5 and Bigbird who have both offered me advice throughout my hunt for a Breitling Chronograph, it's been a journey being as I started looking at 15yr old chronomats then a new Avenger 2, but luck was with me when I spotted the discount poster in the AD's window where I finally bagged my Grail Watch, here are a few not so good photo's I've just taken on my iPhone 5s!

Ps, if you got to the end of me babbling on about my new Watch thanks for reading!

Well the new chronomat with the B01 movement is Breitling's flagship model, and to get 40% off is great :-)

    Fantastic looking watch.

Try and source the bracelet if you can - I think it would look fantastic.

    Enjoy!

A chronomat is always a good choice of Breitling.

That's a beautiful piece and an absolutely fantastic deal with the discount. I've been staring enviously at them through the window of my local AD for a while now - lovely watch; enjoy!

I don't usually like Breitlings mostly but I really like yours! Congratulations on your purchase and especially well done on your discount! Enjoy your new watch!

The flying fish is one of the best Chronomat's, thanks to the brushed finishes, unlike most of the highly polished versions.

I disagree with Adrian regarding the bracelet though, mainly because it's so difficult to find a brushed version, they're usually all polished and won't work with the FF as well as the other models. You have no shortage of options though.

Enjoy, you can rest assured you've bought a cracker.

I think it would look especially excellent on a breitling black fabric strap.

Nice Breitling. Most Breitling's look so much nicer with a brushed case. Great choice.

A lovely looking Breitling. It's interesting to see how the Chronomat's changed down the years. My 1998 says hi

Yes they have changed over the years, but it still really like those early models, I know Breitling are not some peoples Cuppa but by far my most favorite Brand and feel very pleased to finally own one!

Christened it with a meal out last night at the local Italian restaurant, but she's back in the Watch box now after a quick polish with the cloth and looking good

Thanks again for all the comments guys!

Lovely watch! I too much prefer the brushed finish over the polished finish. Polished finished brietlings are way too blingy for my liking.

That looks a great Breitling. Love to know more on how you feel wearing it after a few days and full specification of the sub dials etc.
