Might have wrong section here bud
Apart from the usual, mytyres, black circles, camskill, etc?
Tyres are 215/50/15

Longstone Tyres most likely I would have thought
Tyreleader 215/50/15 I bought from them only a month or 2 ago.
Longstone will have them without a doubt.
Hi,
The problem with the ones on tyreleader are they are very sticky Toyo track day tyres. They will be a real handfull in the damp or wet. I've used the same compound before. You will be far better off contacting Longstone Tyres who will have a compound much more suited to an 80's Quattro and will add to the enjoyment if the car.

You could change to 195/55-15 which is 0.4% smaller diameter, or 205/55-15 at 1.7% bigger diameter
May be along shot. But you could give pete reeve a call at quattrocorner in the midlands. Im sure he would know if there was anywhere u could get them.
When i had my quattro he helped out lots with obtaining parts.
By the way what version engine is it. If its a wr version i have a silicone hose set for a standard setup.
Micheldever Tyres.
Have you thought about moving to some lightweight 16" rims (oz or BBS) and reducing the tyre profile.
Might give more options plus you can put your original somewhere safe and sound.
Plus it's worth nothing than old ally/magnesium wheels before brittle with age!

When I couldn't find a couple of high profile pirellis for my 308GT4 I ended my search here at Beulieu on the motor museum site:

brilliant service and reasonable pricing though this was a few years ago now!
Friend of mine had same issue. I've just asked him and the 225 / 50 x 15 work fine as a replacement and are massively easier to source. No rubbing issues on standard suspension but if you're lowered YMMV.
The right tyre size should be 195/55R15, you can check it here: jaunasriepas.lv
Also, this size is easier to find.
When you look long into an abyss, the abyss looks long into you.........
rare was the tyres needed for my old CX 25Gti Turbo
210/55/r390 TRX metric
only Michelin do them now but at the time dunlop, avon and some remoulds were all i could get

If you have anything vaguely complicated where you just might need some minor customer service don't go anywhere near tyreleader. A more uselss bunch of cockwombles I have never, ever come across. There is a reason they are cheap....
I'll have a ring around tomorrow if you like?, (I own a tyre shop).
PM me your number if you want.
Not an easy tyre to find. 195/55R15 will give you a choice of around a million different makes!

Hi, I used to have my own company specialising in UR's back in the late 80's early 90's.... it's been a long time, things may have changed.
If the car is 83 or later you should change to the 225 VR 50/15's they are a better ride, have more grip, easier to find and cheaper.
I used to use Pirellli 700's (IIRC). The 215 was only specified on the Quattro and the front of a Lotus Esprit Turbo, hence low volume and poor availability.
The Goodyear NCT was also okay, but could catch the arches in 225 size. It was built for comfort not speed - the sidewalls were just not tough enough for the weight (esp at the front) of a Quattro.
Cars before 83 have an internal lip on the arch which reduces the space and limits choice. I believe they also had a narrower rim. They used to rust too, so I never dealt in them.
