    A help me decide thread

So after liquidation of a few small pieces I'm on the hunt for my next purchase. Was on a diver hunt but also have a non diver that I like. Basically I've narrowed it down to only three choices.

First is the Visitor Watch Co. Duneshore
    http://www.visitorwatchco.com/watche...ore-blue-slate

Out of all my choices this is the only one I had the pleasure of trying on. Super comfortable on the wrist with the deer skin strap and curved caseback. Very good looking in person.

    Next is the Prometheus Poseidon
    http://www.prometheuswatch.com/diver...egory=11326133

Very nice diver I really like it however never owned a prometheus before.

    Last is the Helson Whitebeard
    http://www.helsonwatch.com/blackbeard.php

The priciest of all three but a great looking watch

Haven't made any solid decisions yet but most likely it will be one of these 3. What would you choose?

I love the case of the Visitor. I think the hands let it down a bit perhaps, but that case is really interesting. Wins for me.

Could you not find some other choices?

I really like cushion cased watches but cant get my head around all the unnecessary curves and lines on the Visitor.
The Prometheus is okay, looking like an IWC and the Helson going for a white Blancpain look?

If it had to be out of those 3, I'd pick the Helson OR save for something better?

Visitor - it's got the word 'Visitor' on the dial. So a no.
Helson - the hands just look wrong...too small/funny colour
Prometheus - trying too hard to be an IWC

In summation I wouldn't buy any of them...but then I'm not you and it's different strokes for different folks. There's no real point asking a bunch of other people which one to buy as they won't have your tastes. If I were you I would print out a decent picture of each of them and stick them on your study wall or something....over the course of a few days see which one you look at first when you walk in the room. Buy that one.

I agree the hands are almost out of place seemingly.

Can't be more specific but not one of these would get my money, but each to their own it would be a boring world if we all liked the same thing........

I quite like the Prometheus. It has a nice contrast if you ask me. I imagine you like it too otherwise it would not be shortlisted.
I could get quite tired of the color of the Helson and the Visitor is just not that attractive to me.

    My 2 cents

For this one I wanted to stick to $750 or less. Saving for a Sea-Dweller. Figured go with a micro brand for something different.

Good advice it's really hard for me to decide since I can't really look at any of then in person hence me asking for some opinions.

There are many micro brands that offer relatively cheap divers for a few hundred dollars If you are saving for a higher end watch.
Do a search for Micro Brands on here or WUS.
Nice examples from Margrette, Borealis, and Aevig to name a few.
    Good luck

I've looked into many different micros already including the brands you mentioned. Nothing really caught my attention enough to even give it a second thought. Lew and Huey and Melbourne watch company have some nice stuff but not what I'm looking for at the moment. I'm picky I guess haha
