    Detailing a classic

I am going to have to put my 1979 Triumph Spitfire for sale.

It's had a bare metal restoration about 10 years ago, and is in excellent nick but would benefit from a little professional attention on the cleaning side.

I believe some members here are either in or close to the business. Any recommendation in Kent?

PS: the car will be listed here as well later, with a new MOT.

Good luck with the sale - I love Spitfires.

Taff is a detailer. I have tried to tie up with him to get him to detail my classic but haven't managed (my fault, not his!). My plan is to get him over once it is back from getting the engine rebuilt. He may worth sending a PM to.

Great Spitfire! I had a 78 1500TC back in the 90s. Lovely car.

When it comes to detailing - or better details: make sure you've installed the cardboard trim under the bonnet and... icing on the cake would be the metal strip around the window being reinstalled. I know it's a pig to get that right, but it sure shows the love of detail!

    Good luck with the sale.
