Arnold and son, production and more. NOW WITH PICS

    http://klocksnack.se/threads/reserep...ys-live.39652/

I went with Leben for a trip to the Arnold and son. He went to pic up this watch and I was fortunate enough to tag along. We got a 3 hour tour which included all of the factory, from Sellita to Arnorld and Son, Corum and more. After the tour we got to play with a lot of models, winded and just for us. (The thread is in Swedish but the pictures pretty much speakes for themselves.

I figure I'll post some pics and see if this thread comes alive. :)

After the factory tour me and my buddy were left alone with all these watches to play with and photograph. I feel bad for the person who probably spend most of the day winding all these watches just for us, but at the same time very happy he did. :)

The Angelus is made to enable a great view of the tourbillion. The glass is hand made and very hard to make. The case is actually fitted to the glass, not the other way around.

These are sold as a set of 3. :)

The visit ended with my buddy receiving his new watch. The 11,5mm moonphase will stay on time for the next 122 years. It's got a 90hrs power reserve (double barrels) and is manually winded.

You can see the moonphase on the backside for easier setting.

Pictures from the factory. We got to see everything, and by that I mean EVERYTHING.

This is the testing lab where they test movements during developement. They have some pretty cool stuff. This is a high speed camera that checks for correct alignment of the chronograph hands.

    Cheers!

Must have been an interesting trip, a wide range of watches, not all to my liking, but a few pieces I would gladly strap to my wrist.

    Daddel.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!

All parts are being hand finished even if you can't actually see them when they are mounted in the watch.

Glad ad the thread came alive after I posted some photos. Still a little high from the experience.

I'll keep you posted if that happens. I doubt the c24-watch is available at that price. That's about 40% discount= not gonna happen.

Yes Daddel, I'm pretty fast, but not fast enough I guess. ;)
