    I need some JLC...
Looking for a Reverso Duo night and day in steel.
    A Powermatic and a Memovox.

Cash to spend at the moment, if only I could see the sales corner!

  6. #106
Hmmm. I've already got the modern watches I want at the moment.
So it's just a few vintage items on my list currently, including....

    Seiko 62mas (Daini)
    Seiko 6159-7001

Oh.. and a new Mercedes E63 AMG when the new model is announced next year.

Having come back from London, and seen all the sights from Casio to Urwerk, i think it was the gross amount of choice that has made my list has become decidedly smaller :S

Strange, i know, but having seen things I liked in photos, the reality was "meh, it's alright" and have been scrubbed from the list.

    -JLC Deep Sea Chronograph,
Been in love for the past few years, why I haven't bought one is beyond me.

    -AP 15450 or 15202 (or 15300),
have tried all 3, possibly the 15450 has the best proportions and a movement that actually fills the display back!

-PP Calatrava Pilot Travel Time (marmite, I know, but in the flesh it spoke to me)
-PP 5960/1A (ditch ghastly bling bracelet, and put it on perforated leather with red stitching for that racing looking)

However, those last two will require a serious collection cull... but that might not be a bad thing, in the grand scheme of things

I'm pretty happy with the collection as-is just now and I'm certainly not itching to buy anything in particular. However, things that have piqued my interest and may end up being added include:

    1) Omega Globemaster, blue dial. Just a lovely thing, I can see this being a default go-to piece for me for years.
    2) Omega X-33 Skywalker, Solar Impulse LE. Horrendously expensive for a NATO strap, one to try and find second-hand I think.
    3) The new "Snoopy" Speedy. Most people seem to utterly loathe this. I think it's ace, and I want one.

Damasko with ETA 251.262 inside (as per Precista PRS-17C). Damasko really are missing a trick by not offering a quartz model.

Recently got back into having a Rolex. Had a 114060 for a month or so now. Would love to trade back into a DSSD in good time.

Ive also gone for a Steinhart GMT Ocean 1. If it's as good as everyone says it is then I won't go for the Rolex GMT. I'll probably look for a ladies watch for my daughter but I don't know what to go for.

A Sea Dweller 4000. Next is upgrade the Panerai 112 for the in house 560. The IWC 3171 to a Jaeger LeCouture DeepSea and downgrade my gold and steel Rolex GMT IIc to a Pepsi. So not much really!

The list gets shorter every time, but also more expensive - I'll be lucky to get one of those this year.

Hopefully an incoming Day Date will scratch an itch too.
Good to revisit this thread every now and again...

And see that my list remains the same :)

Based on that, not sure where a Datejust, Doxa 800Ti and Reverso Duo came from, but hey ho, I'm easily distracted.

I was aiming for the latest Speedmaster Pro and a Submariner Date Hulk by the end of the year, although I've just seen the new 39mm Oyster Perpetual which is tempting me.

    Longer term:
Navitimer 01 (sold by A23322 and I miss it)
    Daytona
    Too many others to mention!

White gold A.Lange & Sohne 1815 up/down - currently my grail and making it hard to consider more affordable pieces! I'll probably yield sometime, though.

My indulgence in buying watches lasted longer than anticipated and to be honest I'm only a little wiser. There are no further acquisitions on my horizon - I have enough now to outlast me numerous times over.

    Hopefully in the near future:
    1) 1986 full set Fat Lady
    2) Tudor Pelagos - probably the original though vs in house

Further out looking at an IWC moonphase.

Panerai base by wtb thread or new if none appear, followed by new 39mm oyster perpetual in grape or grey (depending on how availability goes this year). Followed ideally by Monaco blue face, a speedy and a sub. Fairly non imaginative but think I'd be complete at that, oh wait.....then I'll decide I need a dress watch and maybe a complication !

Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue. Want one in a month or so ideally, so holding off sticking up a WTB just now.

I'm planning on marking my graduation (18 months) with a Datejust and was hoping to get a nice used one, but notice there's been a WTB for the exact spec I'm after for a while now with several bumps. Starting to think I may have to bite the bullet and buy new. Dislike the extra cost, but it does seem more fitting for a commemorative/celeration watch somehow.

Just two for me at the moment -

    Panerai 320
    Breitling Navitimer 806

I came back looking for some info on an Orange Sumo. (I have the black and it's faultless)
Slightly perturbed at the prices now it appears discontinued.

As expected I've been reading and like the Steinhart Vintage red and the PRS-82 also.

I seem to have a thing for orange at the moment.

Breitling Transocean 1461 Chrono on shark mesh
Ullyse Nardin El Toro Perpetual Calendar in Pt
IWC Portuguese Annual Calendar Blue Face.

The vintage pieces will obviously take some time to get - it is a question of patience, searching and then purchasing when they become available.
Two of the modern pieces are on order and I suspect will be here in the next 2/3 months.
The other pieces are relatively easy to get with the UN being the least known.
I seem to have gone off plan . Since my original post I have added :
A Lange Sohne Saxonia Annual Calendar in Platinum

    and
    BLNR

    and 16710 GMT Coke

    and PP5780 Chronograph

Tang yes. Main reason was to make it more casual to increase versatility and thus number of wears but also to keep those gold PCL s nice
