That’s a strong case of 3017-itis you’ve got going there, RedFroggy. I too own six of the addictive little beasties. Here are some close-ups of my ČSLA-issued ones:

Those watch straps are so beautiful, nothing really goes wrong with black and brown.

    Smile Update

    Hi all,

Although this post has not been updated for time and has been seriously affected by photo bucket new policy, I do hope to re-activate this post and has a keep on...

Christmas is coming so would like to share this watch as a re-start up...

    Enjoy

Here are a few I got since I last posted looks like photobucket screwed a lot of mine up. Did mostly issued clocks with a few issued wrist watches. But issued clocks are cheaper these days than issued watches so I got my military fix.

I should be getting my issued CWC SBS diver in the new year, will post some photos when it arrives! Thinking I’ll order the Canvas strap for it.

So without telling anyone what you do for a living. Are you SBS / SFSG.

Nothing that Gucci yet! Not that I'd say if I was. For PERSEC and OPSEC all I'll say is I'm Royal Marines and it pays to be nice to the storeman!

Thank you ^^ ... vintage watches are not meant to be worn on tough condition though, so I tend to rely on my Watchco SM300 for rough action ... I mean besides drinking my morning coffee (as per pic below)

The SM300 is certainly not an issued watch but is worn on duty nonetheless, does it count ?

    End of off topic :)

    No Mase’, they’re identical.
It would be nice to see a clear picture of that NSN
issue sticker on the back of the tin.

    Thanks John,
I have a "Civvie" SBS and an issued 0555 but will be looking to acquire an issued SBS at some point.
Had one years ago - as usual wish i'd kept it !!

    Cheers,

    Iain

    They do come up Iain.
I bought two a couple of years ago from a eBay seller with an HR postcode.
    Both BNIB and completely unmarked.
His other items for sale and previous posts gave me reason to believe that they may have come out of Credenhill.
They were described as car boot find or unwanted gift
I think he sold five or six in the end.
My two were £400 and £450.
A call to Richard at Silvermans confirmed my two were serials from a batch issued to “H”, albeit I think they’d come straight from stores and never worn.

An early 80s CWC and the other Precista divers watches are next on the list I think.
