It is one of my favourites too.
It's also a good watch to wear, sits nice and is not too small on the wrist like its predecessors.

To my mind, the Omega TA is the most gorgeous of all military watches, bar none. I'm not naturally an envious chap, but I'll make an exception in this case... Stunning :drunken:
    That is magnificent.

Love your understatement Ivan! I'd "settle" for any of them. It's a great mini-collection. The NATO dialled W.W.W. is unusual, don't see many of them.

As regards to me, I only keep watches I wear regularly, so they are few, no more than ten...

    I can't stand watches waiting in a box !!

Today I am wearing this Tudor 94010 from the french Marine Nationale :

Stunning Tudor MN. I have got a Tudor Blue Snowflake in great shape, but unfortunately not the MN. Sad how just a few extra engravings can make you less enthused about the watch.

These are great. For some reason, the old IWCs still look bang up to date.

    56 collection

Recent addition to update the 56 set...

Sorry for the quality of the picture, as I should use the better camera instead of Smartphone

    Enjoy

    @HansL

    A wonderful collection!

I've always thought that the Omega 6b/159 has such elegance for a military watch and yet it remains purposeful. If that makes any sense at all.

I do keep an eye on the forums and eBay but I've yet to find an example that ticks all the boxes...

    Thanks for sharing

While can we have the pictures of the caseback and marking??

    Best regards,

    Hans

  36. #236
I have various markings, including the number one from 1998 (L-98/01); two from Toulon (TN 1998 and TN 1999) and I am waiting one from Brest (BT 1999 = the rarer !)

  37. #237
Here the close up of one marking,

you can clearly see the laser matrix that has engraved the steel :

Nice looking omega, what model is it?

  40. #240

Deutsche Luftwaffe from 1940 to now

A few examples for German Air Force Chronographs, starting with a Hanhart 1940 and ending with the official NATO Flying Officers from Tutima, introduced 1985.

    1940 Hanhart (Cal. 40) - 1957 Hanhart 417 (Cal. 42) - 1960 Junghans 088/0111 (J88) - 1967 Heuer 1550SG (Valjoux 230) - 1985 Tutima 798 (Lemania 5100)

    Many greetings

    Best Regards

  42. #242
Jimmy, you completed it with the missing models with Lemania 5100 movement like Tengler, PD Orfina, and Arctos. The mechanical time in the Luftwaffe ends with the new Quarz models from Tutima:(

Wow, that JLC is perfect. The IWC is nice too, but I think I am setting my sights on a JLC mk xi next, that one is just perfect, I am not sure I have seen too many in that kind of shape. Great find!
