^I've often considered one of those direct reads, that case shape/design is probably one of the nicer available.

Amazing weather today. My Monster 2nd gen looks superb. After all those years wearing various Seiko Divers, I still have can't believe the value for money this watch represents.

My first proper watch purchase in yesterday's London sunshine, taken on the new routemaster.
Couldn't be happier with the metro, and I've teamed it with a new Eulit perlon strap to dress it down a little.

Hi Mark, thanks for that. I met up with busmatt last spring and we went to an antique shop where he bought this and gave it to me. The guy is incredibly generous and we are often swapping watches, such fun!
This one is as you say a great shape, super slim (under 7mm.) and I like the early quartz too.
Picnic lunch in the garden before I give the BBQ a good scrub ready for this eve.
Looks like a Citroen DS (The Godess) and a Seamaster 300. Great combo!
