It’s so good to see a watch being fully utilised and not just polished and put back in be box.

Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.

Not quite IN the sunshine, but catching it.

Sadly my phone doesn't quite capture the richness of the gold or the very slight creaminess of the dial.

Not bad for a 57 year old! Certainly looks better than me!

It's a good looking piece, I'll check the website.

Her straps are expensive, and the Chile mail service takes ages but I do like them.

Just bought one of these for my modded SKX, not bad quality at the price!

Thanks. These 3 cover all bases and have left little room for anything else. The Smurf for casual and most days. The 5726 for work / smart casual. And the 5205 for evening and nicer events. I also have a PRS22-GMT for when I am on travel assignments in the field.

There is one more watch to join the collection, but I need to be patient. It will happen at the right time.

Another day, another attempt at a perfectly focused memomatic sunset.

Looks like I will have to give up and take out the tripod.

    A new acquisition.

I suddenly developed a hankering for a Flieger style watch and, after looking at some cheap 'homages', decided on the Laco Aachen, which seemed like a nice compromise between some heritage (in the brand), wearability (42mm works for me) and price.

From the start I envisaged it on a leather NATO and I think it looks pretty good.

Some inspiring photos above, that beer looks very refreshing.

I can only manage an English country garden at the moment.
What a great watch this is,easy to read in the sun if hard to photograph.
It amazes me how it picks up lume so easy.

Now going to time my cooking with it
