As an aside, I’ve come to the conclusion that this quartz 2541.80 is the perfect holiday beater. Fits beautifully, light enough and thin enough to disappear on the wrist, well-used enough to not worry about adding more scratches, and special enough to feel like I’ve got a little bit of bling on me without feeling self conscious or cautious.
Edit to add: also the ability to adjust the hour hand for a different time zone gives it a useful quasi-GMT functionality.

New arrival today, the 50th Anniversary G Shock square, colours emulating the original Casiotron. I was unsure about the Casiotron re-release/ homage but when I saw there was a square - well you can guess the rest.
Very lucky to get hold of one as these are sold out now.
