I hadn’t worn this for a while but it’s my current favourite and gets worn most days now

I love the contrast of coke bezel and white dial, but of course modded Rolex aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. It’s easy to have it reverted back to standard though.

That's interesting. Unless you're a N.American-based computer-game designer, that's the second one of those I've seen recently. It's an excellent look.

I genuinely think that GShock is a great-looking watch, but your pics illustrate the problem that I have with negative displays - my 50-y-o eyes can't read them!

Surely not long enough, and that watch doesn't stand a chance in a heavy downpour. I'll take it off your hands for safe keeping, no problem.

Stop farting about here. Get on SC and buy that Seiko so you don't need the SLA anymore.

Haha , I actually threw a straight swap /trade which lent £££ his way but he didn’t want it which was a shame. Love the idea of owning vintage watches but having owned a couple I’ve come to the realisation that maybe I should just own both versions , old and new and have the best of both worlds . Might even get another SLA if one pops up and it’s near mint .

A brown sunburst dial sounds like it shouldn’t work (to me)… but it does …

    watches in the sunshine

This has turned in to a favourite. I have gone from Tag snob to actively looking for other vintage models
I like the way the crystal almost disappears in bright sunlight

This is one of those watches I’ll think maybe I’ll put it on the SC, and then I wear it again

Grrrrr! A 2cv based vehicle was my first thought but I couldn't find any photos with that arrangement on the rear.
