    CASIO MTD-1054-1AVEF

Has anyone got one of these

Looks like a lot of beater for £34

At the touch of a button, the display can be brightly
    illuminated in a fashionable color

    - Neobrite
A luminous coating provides long-term illumination in
the dark after only a short exposure to light.

    - Date display
The current date is shown on the display

    - 3 Years - 1 Battery
One battery will supply your watch with the power it
    needs for about 3 years.

    - Anti-reverse Bezel
Mostly available in diver“s watches, this bezel is
designed so it is impossible to rotate it in the wrong
    direction.

    - Mineral Glass
    Hard glass resists scratching.

    - Spherical Glass
The surface of the glass is rounded.

    - Screw Lock Back, Screw Lock Crown feature.

    - Safety catch
Always reliable: This watch has a particularly secure
safety catch, which helps prevent the strap from opening
    by mistake.

    - Water resistance classification (20 bar / 200m)
Perfect for free diving without scuba gear: the watch is
water resistant to 20 bar / 200 metres. The metres
value does not relate to a diving depth but to the air
pressure used in the course of the water resistance test.
    (ISO 2281)

    - Accuracy
    +/-20 seconds per month

    - Approximate Dimensions:49mm x 45.8mm x 14mm (H x W x D)

Had one for a few months and its a great value watch, I put mine on a black nato strap and it looks really good.

The lume is not up to Seiko standards but its ok and perfectly readable in the dark, also it has the really bright backlight that lights up the face if you cant see the lume.

I enjoy wearing mine even though I have more expensive makes and at that price its a nobrainer!

Old thread I know, but I have this watch and think that for the money its the best looking watch casio have made. Mine stops occasionally but then starts again, and light has dimmed. I sent it to them and they returned it saying that there was a part needed that is no longer available. So I am eyeing a couple for sale on ebay, one is badly scratched, hoping to get it for a bargain. Then will send both of them to casio and ask for them to try again. Good ones of these sell for £80 now so worth keeping it I think.

    A very nice diver.

The MTD-1054 is the European, non-Marlin, edition of the MDV-102 'Super Illuminator' a watch that is increasingly hard to find these days.
