A New Toy - just in time for Summer

    BMW S1000RR

Good to have a sports bike again. Still have my HD Fat Bob but missed the rush you get from the handling and acceleration. Never been on such a fast bike but its amazing. Very forgiving, easy to ride and extremely quick.

The challenge now is not to collect any speeding fines

Not ridden one myself, but after viewing BaronVonGrumble's v blog they're obviously an amazing bike.
    Ride in good health.

Lovely bike. Be careful out there.

Very nice....shame it's perhaps a bit windy for a ride today (for me anyway).
I'm too old for sporting bikes so I'm looking forward to trying the XR when it comes out.

    It's a rocket!

Amazing piece of machinery. Got caught in heavy rain the other night and with the "rain" mode on, made for a very confidence inspiring ride. 4th gear lets you cruise through town at 30 or bomb down the motorway at "silly" mph. Still getting used to her but with a very big grin

I've not ridden a bike for years now, and have no knowledge these days of what the best sport bikes are.

A couple of Sunday's ago though, I was sat in a cafe somewhere in the Brecon's and watching the various bikes pulling up outside, and a lot of them were RR's.

    Enjoy it, and stay safe!

Good luck with that challenge on that machine....especially in that neck of the woods.... Lovely piece of kit though ... Nice one and hope you have a lot of fun with it...

My mates just bought one. The other who races has just got rid as the forks wear on the gearbox (or summat) wear like crazy and it costs to fix it. Make sure it goes into gear easily as if it doesn't it's a sign it's wearing.
    Ride safe

Looks great, don't fancy your chances with the speeding fines though......
