Wtf is this now. A David Guetta edition watch.
Ffs I love TAG but they are trying my patience now

I would love to own a Bert Postlthwaite ltd.ed vacheron. At least Bert is well known
Just accept that tag's shift further downmarket is going to see a lot more of this...
You're not going to like me for this, but I own a Monaco and it's the only Tag model that has any interest for me, cliché or otherwise. Just can't find anything inspiring in the current range.
So the answer to your question is a resounding yes.
SGR
I quite like the style of that one.
His name on the dial isn't the most appealing thing in the world, but it wouldn't put me off buying one.
I'm fairly sure that these sort of watches and endorsements are to attract the younger crowd, and I feel that it's working for them.
I like it Kev apart from the bloody name on it
Mind you I suppose it's better than saying Spring Drive
Dave, it doesn't end there -

It just doesn't make any sense does it? F1 models have always been motorsport related... look at the Gulf models etc. To base it on a Footballer is just plain strange, but they'd probably say "f1 can refer to other sports and sports personalities at the top of their game..." followed by more marketing crap.
D d dangerous......
The problem (for us) is that TH is aligning its models with celebs/personalities that they think their target customer base aspires to. Forget the history of the Heuer brand and the F1 models, both of which were clear motorsports links.
It's 'Peter Andre/Kerry Katona/other gossip rag half-wit goes to Iceland' marketing.
Argos Rotarys are better designed than this. Who is TAG employing to design these things?
Ahaha, so glad i did not buy an Aquaracer! The brand devalues at lightning speed.
They certainly do seem to have a strange selection of ambassadors now, i'm still happy with my collection of Heuer branded TAGs :)
Tag knows celebrity endorsement never hurts but in this case I don't see it working. They're trying to attract the younger age group. I don't see them being successful because I know most people in my age group, I'm 24, just don't care about horology. So to think they are gonna drop alot of money on a watch with Guetta's name on it is just not gonna work.

Young idiots with small brains and big credit limits will love this up.
Don't like any of them but this one I do!

But the price is madness....
Yes they have. Definetely. Awful design.

The company I worked for in the early nineties were making automotive heat shields using carbon/resin composites.
I also did some work with unidirectional carbon fibre composites although this was for strength/weight properties rather than aesthetic.
Who'd have thought that 25 years on it would be new and innovative technology!
They really don't do anything for me. I like a handful of their classic / famous designs, but everything (especially this new stuff) is dreadful.
Oh my, those must be some of the ugliest watches I've ever seen. Seriously. I'm even going to say fugly.
Having lost my shirt already on a calibre 36 Tag with the zenith movement I swore I wouldn't go near one again.. This just reinforces my decision..
