    Quartz Diver - 200 or 300M WR, tough, c £100-200 - NOT A G-Shock - Choices?

Disaster struck yesterday as I got home from a day's diving and my Citizen Eco-Drive dive watch wasn't in my bag.

I contacted the dive site, but I have little hope of ever seeing it again (The site in question seems to be developing a bit of a reputation as a thieves paradise...).

So, what options are there for a Quartz, 300M (200M would suffice, I guess) dive watch? I want it to be tough (as my Citizen was), definitely NOT a G-Shock and a maximum of £200.

I'm not interested in automatic, so don't try and sell me Seiko Monsters

I've looked at some of the Citizen Aqualand Ana-Digi watches - any experience with them?

    Cheers.

    M

No bezel but the INOX is great. Really like mine... £184 from Nigel O' Hara but we've all received with no issues so far I believe.

How about a Citizen Excalibur BNO100-51E? a 200m rated ecodrive diver available in bracelet or rubber £139 from Argos.
One of my favourite's that took years of abuse for me was a Divex 500 with a Seiko movement, can't think how much they are now but I paid approx. £50.

I think there's a few variations on that Apeks, Cressi and Divex as it's a generic case.

Good choice, no nonsense design designed by a saturation diver for divers, nice handset and great price too.
    I forgot about these.

A nice watch, another candidate for sure!

Where do people find these micro-brand watches?

AFIK google Scurfa watches and buy direct only, I think he has two handsets available for his Scurfa one watch.
The watch is quite similar to the Citizen Excalibur.

The Divex 200m or 500m are both simple solid tool watches for not much money.

Citizen BN0151-09L. 200M Eco-Drive. It's only been out a few weeks and it's a nice size, comfortable. Watchshop have them in stock.

Look for a second hand quartz Marathon TSAR, then you can get a nice bracelet as a future upgrade?

Well I ordered a Cressi Sub 500 this morning and 20 minutes later found my Citizen inside one of my dive boots!

I'm quite pleased to have the Citizen still, but I'd got quite excited about the Cressi when I ordered it, but I decided to be good and it's been cancelled.
