    Seiko SNK80 v SNKE63

I currently own a Seiko SNKE63 (the one that's a little bit like an explorer). I was thinking about buying a modified Seiko SNK805k. From looking at the cases i was under the impression that they used the same case only the former was a polished finish. Can anyone confirm if i have this completely wrong?

I'm asking as anything smaller than the SNKE63 would look like a childs watch on me. I believe it is 38mm with a 20mm strap.

They're both the same size, 38mm case & 20mm lugs.
However, as well as a different finishes, the cases are different designs.
    Comparison pics...

The SNK805 has 18mm lugs, but the picture there is of an SNKH63, which does have 20mm lugs.

Oops, yes you're right. The SNK805 case is also smaller at 36mm.

I'm probably being slightly pedantic here but the SNK is actually larger than that at 37mm (Yes, a whole 1mm larger!), but on the wrist they are virtually identical. I had a SNK809 and traded it for a SNKH63 thinking the 20mm lugs and 38mm case would wear a bit bigger but unless you have a set of calipers to hand you'd never know.
