Manufacturers recommend every three or four years.
Tbh I go a bit longer than that. My Milgauss was bought five or so years ago is in no great need of a service.
Typically after how long will your new Rolex go in for its first service?

this has been asked about 1000000 times before - see if you can search to find the information you want.
Rolex advise every 5 years (and there's service advice on their website).
Each of the previous 1000000 threads usually ends up splitting the TZUK membership into two camps;
1) service it when it stops working properly (I'm in this camp)
or
2) service it regularly to prevent it not working properly (if you have the ££ to spend)
I still dont think we have a consensus.
I was going to reply, but its all be said before,,,,so often.
5 years in Rolex's recommendation but it is a little like asking how long is a piece of string. If it's working perfectly why bother, but then when it does go wrong it could be something significant. Decisions, decisions. I would actually service it at the 7 year mark if it keeps near to perfect time and I always send them to the RSC.
I recently sent my Sub for a service after 10 years. The watch was running fine but I thought it could do with some lubrication after all that time.
