Any eCig users available for help and advice?

I've been on the halo disposable eCigs for a while, and have been generally happy. (Only puff them after a few drinks at the weekends)

But recently they've been getting really crap. A cartrige used to last me two nights and a battery would last a night, but the last few orders I've made (5 or 10 carts at a time) have been really poor.

I've sat on the sofa tonight and got thought three carts and four batteries so far. some of the batteries now last for about 20 puffs and the carts for maybe 50, which is some way short of the 400 that they suggest!

I'm looking for advice on a better brand or maybe a refillable version with more powerful batteries I could switch to. The batteries Halo give are only 180mAh.

Have I killed the batteries by using a 2 amp usb charger rather than the 1 amp one they suggest?

Would be grateful for any help.

    Have a look at http://www.jacvapour.com/

I use a 900mah battery which can easily last 2 days.

I've been using the KangerTech EVOD for 6 months now and cannot praise it enough. It's not much longer than a regular smoke and approx 12mm diameter. The usb charged battery will last me all day no probs and you get good variety from using vaping liquid.

I was using the Evod for a few months but found that, through time, the coils were burning out very quickly. It got to the stage where a coil was only lasting me a day. Upgraded to the Emow Mega this week which uses dual coils. So far it is a class above the Evod but time will tell.

I would recommend you ditch the "cigalikes" as soon as possible. Great to start with but very unsatisfying. Moving up to e-liquids helps to completely move away from cigarette flavour and look

I switched from e-cigs to the Kangar Evod Glass and was very happy with it. A very good place to start experimenting with e-liquids, easy to fill, easy to use. Have heard good things about the Kangar Emow too. Look for starter kits which usually gets you two batteries and tanks e.g. http://myepack.co.uk/kits/evod-glass-starter-kit.html

Depending on how much you vape you will ultimately want to upgrade to larger tanks and longer lasting/powerful batteries. I now use Aspire Nautilus coupled with Eleaf iStick 50w. "Shiny-itis" will get to you but it is always much cheaper than smoking cigarettes.

All of the above is personal opinion.

Head over to All About E-Cigarettes http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/ - a very friendly forum, loads of advice and recommendations, no question is too small or silly (we were all newbies once upon a time!)

    Good luck!
