It must be dusty in here - I seem to have something in my eye.

I am so sorry for your loss and hope that you remember the great times.

This made me think about my dog (Rex - Black Labrador - best dogs in the world!) who passed away 37 years ago - I still well up when I think about him.

Thoughts are with you and yours,

    MarkC

    Virtu-hug from me.

Lost both of my old campaigners early last year at 14 and 15 - swore that would be it, never again.

Lasted all of three months before the current underfoot/stranger barking/soulful plate staring/tail chasing on hardwood floors/making sure all dog toys are left in the path of most foot traffic/pain in the 'arris arrived. Love him to bits.

Meant to reply yesterday but as usual with one of these my mind wondered back to my old fella that passed and I had something in my eye!

So sorry for your loss, take comfort in the wonderful life you gave to Ben right up to the very last; he was a lucky dog to have found you, and you him.

    RIP

Really sorry for your loss - a beautiful and fitting post to honour Ben.

I`ve been through it many times and it never gets any easier but I always take comfort in the good times - as I am sure you will.

A really beautiful post Tom. thank you from sharing it. He was a lucky dog and you were loving parents.

We lost our old boy last May and had him cremated and then had his ashes put in a statue that our new boy bows too when he comes in our front door.

Treasure the many many fond memories of Ben. He will be missed and so will you as he looks down on you both.

    RIP Ben

    Jim

Sorry to hear this :-( I'd hate to lose my dog and know exactly how much they can become a part of your family.
