Well I was 50% right. I am not sure about the reversing of the digital display. I prefer the version used on the silver and shiny gold versions.

I received my first ever g-shock(s) this week. Went for the square 5610 in black with negative display and white with positive display as I couldn't decide. It's strange, because I really do think they are the ultimate watch - completely accurate, robust, affordable, and just good design. You literally forget you're wearing one. I'm definitely a convert.

Would upload a photo but the app gives me an error about resizing the image which I can't be bothered to do.

Sorry for being so poor. I live in Yorkshire, we don't have good tech here. Sure you know what they look like anyway.

More due in at the Carnaby St boutique, but couldn’t tell me when. Also I was told for shop purchase only, ie not available online. So even harder to know when they’ll be in.

With a little bit of cutting it is possible to get the rubber strap from a GW-5000 to fit the GMW-B5000D

I like that one Andrew! Does it have a 3179 module like the GW-6900?

Nice collection but pity G-Shock don’t do different case colours rather just straps and tweaking dial, hands etc.

But they do this on most models.

Do they, maybe just certain models but I’ve got a few (original) Rangeman, couple of Mudman and Riseman for example where the whole watch is different colour.
    Frogman too of course!

Thanks a lot I'm not sure if any further releases. It's a pretty old model ( 2015 first one ) Perhaps a final 35th Anniversary edition ? ❤️ Would be awesome Let's see

I want to say that G-Shock squares are, and should always be, rubber and resin.

But damn, I want that black one! :D

Is the black and green one nearly out? The Froggy releases have been pretty good and no doubt more to come - you and and S.I have serious problems

25th Anniversary (10 years ago, doesn't feel that long) Glorious Gold GW-225E on my wrist today. I bought the set of 3, the 6925 and 5625 ones as well.

    DW-5035D-1BER

Very pleased with the way the DW-5035D-1BER wears and feels on the wrist. The screen effect which was a slight concern, need not have been and actually adds a unique touch, especially when indoors. Outside, it's less prominent. I'd love it if Casio made the same watch without the gold accents, thereby replicating the original. Maybe that's on the cards.

That is absolutely stunning....would love to see the set. My G knowledge back then was pitiful, just a basic square. I remember being in Japan 10 yrs ago totally miffed with MR-Gs, now regret not buying one as they worked out super cheap!

Were the prices 10 years ago crazy for frogs too?

Sure is an excellent G. I put mine on the Combi, and wasn’t convinced, so sold it.
Had to buy another on rubber. The rubber is superior to most other G’s.

If I recall, you also had the smaller camo blue frog....the shape felt awkward?

Have fancied a white one for some time. Not to my taste though - but at least I gave it a go.

Have a rising red one on the way from the States - will be interested to see if I take to it.
