Oh mamma. I do enjoy a good Rangeman...

Currently trying to talk myself out of either a Rangeman or a Mudmaster, employ a bit of self restraint for once and see what 2019 brings G-Shock wise.

My go to snow day watch!
Don’t know why I don’t wear it more often, but it just feels right being worn on days like today!

Tried a photo app recommended elsewhere on TZ. Very easy to use, and I like the result.

The most interesting thing here is the seconds are just beginning to change from 21 to 22!

I did see that, thanks. Trying to convince myself it's ott for me and the 'old' Rangeman will suit me fine.

Have to admit I have a bit of a thing about the charging too, I know the watch works regardless with the solar, but I don’t like the idea of losing some of the functions unless I can plug the watch into a charger. I know it's unrealistic with the gps, but that's not a G-Shock to me. Does that make sense?

Either way, very much looking forward to your pictures. It does look rather good...

^^^^ Great to see a GX-56 about, not seen one for a while.
With other G’s getting bigger, the King doesn’t feel as enormous as it once did.

It should have arrived yesterday (Saturday) but the UK postal system appears to have ground to a halt

Thank you. I look forward to seeing what delights you have this time.

Using the tables above, this was made on the 21st June 2016.

I shall enjoy wearing this on my walk, before working this afternoon.

I struggled to find the engraving on my MTG even with a loupe, however eventually it turns out that it was made on Christmas Eve 2015.

Nice to know the Casio team didn't slack off to the pub early!

I wonder if anyone has a Christmas Day watch?

  32. #2982
Just 4 sharing - just 4 show. Not mine . yet It's the 3rd Mastermind Frogman GWF-1000. A real beauty, stunning If you need more infos just google a bit.

Mastermind World x G-Shock Frogman GWF-1000 - Model: 7W-SP-MMJ. October 2017 release in Tokyo Japan, and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Could easily happen as Christmas isn't an holiday in predominantly Shinto / Buddhist Japan. Just another normal work or school day.

Bonus G-Shock pic as it's a picture thread not QI :

Exactly the model that I have due tomorrow. What a coincidence

Do any of you G-shock fans have pictures of caseback characters (Frogman, Moleman, Antman etc.) collected in one place, or know of a web resource that does? I really love the style of these and I'm guessing I haven't seen all of them, and almost certainly not all their variations.

It has only been with me a few hours but first impressions are really good. If you are anything like me I don’t think you’ll be dissapointed but rather perhaps a bit worried about the sudden and unavoidable curiosity of the more advanced (and costly) Frogman versions...

  38. #2988
    Love the Mudmaster.

The punctuation on the back of the Frogman would annoy me.

It's not that. It's that it doesn't quite say "Casio authorized service centre repair only"

Still loving my GG-1000 but looking at some of the pics I might have to sell and try to purchase a GWG-1000.

I had that exact watch, and made that very upgrade.
Got the GWG-1000 with the desert camo strap.

Same photo as above, but highlighting the blue of the dial, rather than the purple tint/hue sometimes seen.
