Thanks Tom! The Frogman is remarkably comfortable on the wrist too for being quite a large watch!
Oh dear, I fear G-Shocks may be addictive!

I have to operate a strict 'one in, one out' policy for G-Shocks or things would get out of hand. Topics like this don't help either.

This one is about to be boxed up and posted. In fact, I guess it's not mine any longer as I received payment about an hour ago.

Arrived yesterday. Not sure I'm keen on the bracelet so have just ordered a resin strap for it.

My wallet has been saved by the lack of atomic / wave ceptor on this one. It was damn close though, phew. Looks fantastic, enjoy it. Such a great colour combo.

Now that i've semi retired i no longer wear Dress /suit watches so i decided to try a few -Shocks and bought this one which does everything i need and is super comfortable for me now that i always seem to be in casual clothes.

It's the Gulfmaster, lovely blue fixed bezel is a nice contrast.

  17. #267
    Thanks for that.

    Yes it's stunning!

It is lovely. I see there is a black bezel version as well.

The specs say it is 44mm in diameter which is quite modest in G-Shock terms. How does it wear?

It wears very comfy and not too big by G-Shock standards

Good old EBay! I did have a WTB up for a Frog, but to no avail!

Quite possibly my next G-Shock purchase.

Thanks for this post. Just picked up my first G-shock, a GW-M5610. I've been eyeing up a classic square cased one for a while. Clicked through your link and noticed there was a 20% off code available at the moment, which sealed the deal!

Unfortunately I got stung by customs buying this but it was worth it to have the Carbon Fiber strap.

All these frogs are making me want to try one though!

I had a Rangeman and sold almost immediately. Just found it too big and clunky. It was obviously a moment of madness I need to address!

There's a code for 20% off a £75 or more spend on jewellery or watches "Jewel20". Can be used online or quote it at the till instore. Only stumbled across it when I looked to see what other Gs they had available.

    +1

For me this series of MT-G, MR-G, the Giez of the same era and the GW2000 series have been the best looking non-classic shape Gs for a while. Not sure if I'm won around to the new size and case style like the current aviators and MT-G yet, or the Gulfmaster above.
