Sorry for the newbie question - when it comes to G-Shocks I'm a total newbie! - but what reference is that? I really like that 👍

It looks like a GXW-56BB

It is worth noting the size 55.5 × 53.6 × 17.5mm
DW-5030C, Japan-made screw-back "Project Team Tough" for the G-Shock 30th Anniversary
Nice simple module
Thank you Sir! Very cool, but maybe a bit on the large side indeed...

Still love this one but tilt sensor died for the third time.
Right sorry for delay after waffling on about 6900 here it is next to my steel G 520D one I've had for some time... not good close up but will try better shot.
Overall I paid £30 delivered (about £3.40) tiny dink on left above illumination button but otherwise its good condition so pretty pleased.

Sometimes I am amazed at how readable a negative display can appear!
I thought that I’d try my most notoriously difficult to read negative display in the same place.
All of the sudden, the display really pops!
great presents and reasonably priced.
Still holiday in Hong Kong

Flying down to Manchester.
Gotta stop looking at this thread, every time I look I feel that I should own at least one G-shock.
Some really awesome photos.
These are my two:
As I'm off to Japan this week, I hope I might pick up one of these, JDM, and the Atomic version of our GR-8900

Hi guys, still living the 5610, but interested in something chunkier as well. I tried a mudmaster analogue and few weeks ago and was very surprised how comfortable it was on the wrist. I haven't been able to try a Rangeman on and wondered how it compares to the Mudmaster regarding how it wears size wise and comfort wise. Bob.

Hi Bob. I still keep a GW-M5610 amongst my collection - a classic.
Personally I am a big fan of Solar AND Atomic, and after owning a 5610 I think you would find anything less than this spec disappointing.
The 5610 is as small as my G-Shocks go, and I think most people can carry off most models on the wrist.
I still have a Rangeman (a jelly yellow) but I personally much prefer a Mudman or Mudmaster.
Perhaps have a good browse through this thread, and see if there is a specific watch you fancy?
I haven’t found an uncomfortable G yet, although more expensive ones often have superior materials making them even more comfy.
Hope that helps a little?
Giving more thought to your query Bob.....
The Mudmaster is the largest G in my collection. It has plenty of bulk/chunk to it!
I actually bought one rather early on, but sold it as I considered it too large. It didn’t wear too big on the wrist, but was a pain when taking a jumper, or even a jacket, on or off.
A fellow TZer (and G-Shock fan) kept telling me to reconsider, until I gave in, and purchased another. A slightly different colour version. It obviously remains awkward to dress around, but other than that I am really happy to welcome it back into my collection (various pictures on here!)
The Mudmaster, for me, wears significantly larger than the Rangeman, and despite owning both, I prefer the Mudmaster
I wear my Mudmaster the most of any of my watches, It is my work watch ( I work most of the time ), it is very comfortable and feels better than the rangeman on the wrist, which is my sons main watch.
