This is getting a lot of wrist time
Funnily enough I've been debating searching one of those out my very first gshock and the one I wore in the forces on an animal Velcro strap, I loved that watch and to think I used to wash the watch and strap in the washing machine with the rest of my kit. If you ever find a source of them shout it up I'll want one too for old times sake.
That's one of the nicest Gshocks imo looks lovely
Tried a a very similar one to this on yesterday but, sadly it looked too big on me. I think if it had been 40 or 42mm I'd definitely have bought one. I think Casio have missed out on a few sales by not making different size cases with this style G Shock. I realize part of the appeal is a chunky tough looking watch but they would have definitely sold more if they weren't so large.
They all look a bit like kids toys. Just a subjective view.
Great weekend gents

^^^^ Wow, now that's a real collection of G's
I love the idea of these high end G-Shocks but the size puts me off (I'm a 36mm DJ kind of guy and the current 40mm sports Rolex are as big as I am comfortable to go) BUT I am thinking of trying one of the super G's on and if they are as big as I imagine I may go ahead anyway but just wear it in the house! :-)
When I got the MTG I thought it was huge. OK, at 55mm+ it is huge, but I got used to it very quickly.
Other watches now feel rather tiny in comparison, including by 45mm Breitling.
It's the only watch I own that my colleagues have commented on the size, likening it to the death star.
Going to see if I can get away with a couple of photos of my ProTrek. Not exactly a G, but a much better spec than some!

My G-Shock selection is complete. For now at least...
Absolute fantastic! I need 2 to fill my current lust. A mud master (will get around to post a WTB for one) and a new D1000.
Really like that MR-G, did you get a good deal for one? If you decide to move it on, well I may be interested....
Thanks! I like the MR-G too. I'm not sure if the deal was good or not. I bought it two years ago when it was new; cheapest I found at about 2k€. I don't think I'll be selling it. It's been used hard for the two years and shows the signs for it anyway.
Good luck with your quest! The Mudmasters pop up on the SC pretty frequently. I actually received mine today thanks to maseman of this parish.
Ta for the answer - I think that sounds an ok price. Yea will put a WTB when I want one. First up is stomaching the price for the yellow and blue d1000 frogman

Which model is that one?
I like the GW-M5610-1ER but am less taken with the red on it. This looks the same sans red?
Is it technically similar?
Is the Japan Market version with a screw back case. I can't remember the exact model ref. Scroll back to my previous posts and you will find it, I quoted the ref number.....
