Thread: Show your G-Shocks

  1. #651
Hi, brand new to the forum today. Here's my G-Shock that I've had for the best part of 2 decades. Change of battery this year for the first time, and it's been enjoying the Atlantic this summer :)

    Welcome along
That watch looks to be in superb condition, and still looks cool today.

    Your welcome :-)

I only bought a Rangeman recently. If I'd had know that this was coming out I wouldn't have bought the Rangeman and have a waited for these to be released instead.

How does it compare size wise to the Rangeman? It looks bigger going by the pictures.

Yes it's bigger than the Ranger. Especially the dial. I will post few side by side shots this weekend.

Very "ice" indeed - not seen that before but I assume JDM given the model number.

How about a solid gold 5600?

Oh, and here's my fat arse with the man they made it for, Kikuo Ibe, the inventor of the G-Shock:

I was looking at these on the Internet but can't find this exact model/strap combo anywhere. You know where I can get one?

I'm liking this new arrival a lot, one of the few with the correct timezone offset for Venezuela.

It is a GD350-8 and it really is nice; size, features (particularly the correct time-zones) and price are spot-on for me.

Hi, I can't find that combo either. Probably need to order from Hong Kong for that version I expect.

Was really interested in one of these until I looked up the dimensions! They are now appearing in shop windows and are unfortunately (for me) as big as expected...

Slightly annoying isn't it? Anyone know a decent AD out there could source this combo?
