I like the concept of a slim G but yet to try a 2100 for some reason - I think it’s the negative displays

My all metal G-Shock that I treated myself to a couple of weeks ago, absolutely love it.

I like the all black metal but just wished they did it with a positive display.

    Here’s a 5000G with a Porter bezel & bracelet,

More ’gun metal grey’ than black but it’s DLC rather than IP coating and personally I prefer the Porter finish/look.

Love it. If it weren't 1st April, I'd be asking where you could get one and could you choose the date and time.

I think it's a genuine item. Although I just tried the website in Vietnam and it didn't load.
Here's the details from the IG post and translation by Google :)

I’ve just seen where the buckle is on that - it looks a little on the large side tbh!

This one arrived yesterday. I was quite pleased to see that there was a smaller version of the 'Casioak', but when I visited the G Shock site I didn't see a version that I liked. The metal hour batons put me off a bit. But while browsing I was quite taken by this version of the larger size.

I've just been playing around with my GMW-B5000 having FINALLY got the strap off and a proper bracelet on, and noticed the stop watch only goes for 24 hours and then goes back to single hours, with no indication of the extra time run. Possibly useful to be aware of...though likely not for most!

I've got a trusty GW-3000 and was looking to get a nato strap converter but can't seem to find any to fit this model. Any ideas?

Thanks! I’ve been gradually losing interest in all things watches over the last year but this one has constantly been in the back of my mind since its release in 2018. Never thought I’d own one but an exceptional opportunity presented itself recently and I had to go for it.

The right tool for the job.

After a month trying to dry out a soaked concrete wall (old waste pipe leak in the guest en suite). Time to assess and repair the damage, paint and plaster flaked right down to the block.

Hoping a quick skim coat, sanding and lashings of Zinnser Blue holds it solid enough for paint. Nasty business.
