You inspired me Rob! Decided to go a little more aggressive on the finish, but am loving it, sort of looks like some form of sci-fi prop.

Toying with getting another done in coyote tan, but concerned it might look a bit ‘walt’

Paul at Tempus was great to deal with & answered all questions I had promptly, and also put up with me changing my mind daily on colours & level wear before finally deciding.

Certainly not going to be last cerakote G.

A rare sight. GW7900-MS. I miss mine although I get to see it being worn by the mate I sold it to every now and then when times permit. He's the guy who buys a few of your old favourites and then reminds you that you regret selling them in the first place.

Still enjoying this one gents. Since it’s an UK forum, try to grab it as long the price is reasonable.. Imo great value 4 $ ... fabulous packaging as well..... Did cost me around 300 pounds ( little less than 3000 HKD here )

I'll have to wait until it's normal to go to the shops again and see if I can look at one for real, definitely like them, but don't know if I can read one.

It does look good. Does it not feel frustrating with no solar?

Not frustrating at all - Got 60 plus plus solar G’s - a few non-solar won’t spoil the party!

I’ve got one of those arriving this week. Hopefully it’s not too bright a yellow.

    Looks lovely though.

    Thanks, looks great!

Need to get myself a positive 5000, seem to be wearing the negative with battle finish every day.

Solar charging seems slow & power usage not as low as my riseman being the only negative I can see. I bloody love them.

Thinking about getting Paul to do me a cerakote in coyote tan next.

  28. #6028
Cerakote is fun. I was thinking about a matt green or similar.

Nah the yellow isn't one of the silly bright ones, quite subtle.

    Very pleased with it.

Resin strap came today and swapped onto gshock all metal. Watch feels so much lighter..pain in nuts to swap out strap. You need two fine screw drivers to unscrew endlinks

  35. #6035
Loving both of my full metals but the 5000G is a firm favourite at the moment

    Fiddling about with bezel swaps

Think I’ll keep them this way for a bit

  41. #6041
My JaysandKays strap ends finally showed up after 2 months! I’d given up on them. Fitted a Red Rock vintage canvas strap.

Thanks and no, not by a long shot I can assure you!
There are many avid and hardcore G collectors out there, some probably have more screwback squares than I have total amount of all kind of G’s. Although I do have what is probably an unusually large amount of contemporary MRG models.

  43. #6043
Mine were about 2 weeks but that’s before all this kicked off in fairness

How’s the fit? Mine had a little wobble but a small bit of tape has solved that

Well, I'm mightily impressed by the number of high-end Gs you have. Do you also have one of those rainbow-hued special edition MT-Gs?

    Nope.
The MTG lug design and me do not get along so well so in fact I do not have a single MTG model.
MRG is my main poison with Frogmans (mainly GWF-D1000), Mudmasters (GWG 1000 only!) and some steel squares as flankers. Have been trying to reduce my collection a bit lately so have no Gulfmasters left and only a few Rangemans. Will get the G-Squad model that is about to be released soon though...

Ah, OK. I thought I'd seen you with an MT-G or two but my mistake. I had an MTG-S1000BD at one point but these days, the only G I have is a GWG-1000 1A. I would however kill for one of those rainbow MT-Gs. I think one came up on here at one point but didn't have the funds at the time.

Fit and finish is pretty good, I’m impressed! Totally transforms the watch, so much lighter too.

I must resist the camo Ti version. Is it possible to buy the bezel only?

Last time I visited my local AD here in Stockholm they still had a rainbow MTG in stock.
